| Today, I came across one of the admins on Facebook while discussing some things about game localization. I brought up a transcription of the abridged script from the Policenauts: Private Collection making-of disc and noted that is has some unused scenes, storyboards, and text that was later changed and he suggested that I post it to the wiki.
Thing is, I read the rules and I'm not sure whether it should be posted as I don't think the material really fits into a particular category well. This data is used in the Private Collection, but it details content cut from Policenauts itself. (For comparison, the the Private Collection is to Policenauts what the Document of MGS2 is to Sons of Liberty.) Is it worthy of being posted on tcrf? https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/88446209/PN_SCENARIO_v1.0.7z Last month, I finished a personal project to reconstruct the scripts found in the Private Collection and Pilot Disk. The sections in blue text for the Private Collection document are unused in the final game, as are the darkened panels marked (没) in the storyboards. The original text can be found at the end of MAKING.DPK as Shift-JIS. Some of the characters don't show up properly (they end up as Japanese interpuncts) which I fixed in the documents. |
