'Bout a month ago I set up Window Maker in Arch Linux, and I'm very pleased with the results! I used PCManFM for the desktop icons.

Been playing a few different games, all at once:

  • Stardew Valley - I started a new farm about a week ago

  • Xonotic - A sweet open-source and cross-platform FPS (I typically play online deathmatch)

  • Breath of the Wild - I've never gotten super far in this game, but hopefully I intend to change that (I tend to have a short attention span when it comes to games, and this once isn't easy, as least for me, to pick back up and play again after a while)

Bleeeeehhhhhhhhh 3 of my motherboards failed a few months ago so I need to buy new ones....

I also want to eventually upgrade/repair all of my desktops and laptops to "full power" (which isn't much considering all of my computers are from <2009)

Most of my retro style websites are either hosted on tilde.town or the computers located in my bedroom at raiynight.city


I plan on setting up a website at rainynight.city where you can create your own website, but its a little ways off

What kind of text tone/ring tone do y'all have for your phones?

Personally I could never use one of the defaults; I definitely use custom ones

For my text tone it's this short jingle at the beginning from the PC88 version of Jesus, and for my ringtone it's the pause menu music from the GBC Pokemon Trading Card Game

However, I usually have my phone set to either vibrate or silent so I rarely even hear them

I'm listening to my sound machine playing white noise since I am laying in bed and should be asleep

I turn my sound machine on every night when I sleep

It's a fairly old sound machine too; it's a yellowed 90s computer beige color. Not sure exactly how old it is though

Only thing I have added to my newest laptop is just a small Arch Linux badge. I have more stickers but I'm so picky about how they're aligned and placed, so I can never bring myself to actually put any other stickers on it

Apparently CSF contains a high concentration of glucose, which in and of itself is sticky, so part of it would be sticky if isolated
