It's amazing how sleeping on the floor can change your thoughts and opinions about beds/how to sleep in general.

Unlike you though, I don't think I'll ever be able to go back to a regular mattress

Every now and then I will do an extreme clean, and within a week it's back to how it was before, and sometimes worse.

286 Zenith computer with 3MB of RAM incoming!

It's not actually that bright, it's just the ridiculous flash on the camera makes it seem that way.

Vetusware is a download site for old DOS, Windows, OS/2, etc stuff, and it has a very simple and retro layout. I love it.

Posted on 01-20-18 03:53:13 PM, in Music streaming services? Link

Only things I really use to "stream" music are Bandcamp (very rarely) and Youtube. My musical tastes are very different from most peoples' and I likely wouldn't get much use out of any real streaming services anyway. Most of the time I just play music off my laptop/desktop or from CD's and cassettes if I'm on the go.

Posted on 01-20-18 04:25:21 PM, in Sleep Associations Link

I used to sleep with one of those white noise generators on, but the power cord got mixed in with millions of other cords while cleaning and I've been too lazy to look for it. I've found that I really don't need it that much though.

I tend to just sleep on my back, however I might fold over my pillow and lay on my side occasionally, or even more rarely use my body pillow. I only ever resort to these things if I can't fall asleep (which happens more than it should )

A little ways down the road both "FBI Field Access" and "Virus Server" show up. Other than that the only funny SSIDs are the unsecured HP printers everywhere.

Just using your everyday generic layout made with your everyday layout generator.

I should probably get a new layout at some point but eeehhhhh....

EDIT: Speaking of new layouts and OS themed ones, I might attempt to make a Plan 9 one.

Posted on 01-25-18 12:45:08 AM, in Minecraft V: Lets try this again! Link

Old server of mine was left unattended, never updated, and then died, plus lots of new activity here now, so now I've rebooted it once again! Old map is here in case no one wants it.

Presenting the BlarggCraft Server!

Version:
1.12.2

Server Address:
blargg.servebeer.com

Rules:
1. Use common sense.

More Info...
1. It'll be mostly vanilla (no home, warp, etc.). This may be changed in the future.
2. It has a MIDI player which can be accessed via /midi (Here's a MIDI list).
3. Just about every mob drops heads (including players). It's a little buggy as the graphics don't show up until you place it.

I should also mention I've added a dynmap, and that all chat on IRC/Discord is relayed to ingame, and vise-versa.

Look at it! LOOK AT IT! It's so fucking cute!!

Ever since that video was released I've wanted it too!!

On another note I've thought about getting a PC-8801 again, they're just so expensive, and all the good ones are on Yahoo Auctions, which of course requires me to find a decent proxy for it.

There's a whole bunch of other computers I would want, but I think I'm going to go after the PC-8801 first.

Posting from Plan9front on my Pentium II! This computer is the one that had 9 OSes on it until Windows 98 and 2000 broke, and I've yet to reinstall them. This computer was made by a now defunct company called Proteva, and this particular model is the PROTEVA TOUCH.
