I don't know if anyone still wants to try cracking this thing, but I recently found out that the PS2 files for the game (.XPS) give strange folder names in GCFScape if converted to a .00(X) file from Hoodo456's thingy and changed to a .vpk file.
Also, audacity is able to get audio from the regular .xpc files if using Import Raw. Although they are very speed up and low quality, it does the trick if you want the game sounds. |

| More on that, GCFScape reads that there are multiple files in those folders (I'm opening WORLD1.XPS currently,) But trying to open the folder shows nothing, and trying to extract it crashes GCFScape. I feel like this is going somewhere, but idk |

| I got Marco Pontello's BitmapRipper (http://mark0.net/soft-bitmaprip-e.html) to spit out a bunch of .jpg files from Hw_cars.xpc. However, they can not be opened. Marco's Trid program tells me that the data structure of the .jpg files is 75% jpg, and 25% mp3. Now I need something that can separate those, and then maybe the .jpg files would be openable. |
