When using inline style tags you do not use {} to bracket them. Even a small thing like that literally disables the entirety of your CSS or HTML.

And for font family tags you'd want to use ' as the quotes so there's no conflict with the style quotation marks. (Otherwise you will end up with the style tag terminating partway through reading, making things break as well).

Thanks.
I'll also have a look into my kafuka layout also, and fix it. Also how do I implement a custom image URL? If I do it using the background tag it doesn't seem to work.

Thanks again.

Also, I wrote a border part to my post layout, which is fine in the sample post but doesn't seem to display elsewhere, which makes no sense. Should I try resizing the boxes?

the data is: 1em ridge #FFA500;

hang on it's working now...

I think all Opera browsers after 12.62 are built off the recent version of Chrome at their times, I looked up my user agent and here was the string:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 5.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/44.0.2403.107 Safari/537.36 OPR/31.0.1889.99

On the useragentstring.com site it's not detected as Opera at all.

The second YT is rid of Google+ I'm deleting the accounts (all of them) that I was forced into. That was the only reason I had them really.

I wonder what made Google make the decision. Perhaps it was all the dead accounts that weren't actually being used because people were forced into them.

If they remove google+, the only bad thing is that we can't have multiple accounts without having to make a new email address. Otherwise, get rid of the shitty google+ thing, it's another way of Google to track your data for ads. That's probably their only reason for it.

I know a bit about ABXD Layouts, but not Jul AcmlmBoard Layouts, that's why I made the thread. Thanks for the new code also, it works (besides the font which might be a browser issue).

Layout is done! It is basically look like ABXD Gold from ABXD.

Be warned: there's a high risk of flashing with the GIFs!

Q, I really like the second set of pictures you made (the 2 gifs), well
1) they don't mess up my eyes
2) both prove GIF's 256 colour restriction - according to staple, anyway - is useful for things
3) one of them looks a lot like water flowing and is actually quite calm for your drawings...

Go on, keep doing it now.

It's really annoying, everytime I scroll down in IE, the header seems to wipe itself off.

It's probably just an IE6 issue, and I'm the only Briton/non-loopy person in the world who uses that browser. And the only active IE6 user on the board.

Not all the time, but most of the time, it happens. I have to keep refreshing or typing in the address bar.
Shame, IE6 is one of the best browsers around for visiting any AcmlmBoard forum.

The ads don't disappear, but everything up to the breadcrumbs, do.

And don't moan I use IE6 or TIFF image format... both do their job...

I prefer images.allprog.nl to other image hosts, there's no stupid Flash uploader (it's done via old HTML upload), it's fast, you can view the image as it is and not in a page embedded (unlike photobucket) and you don't need an account. 6MB filesize is good too, and especially 3MB for guests.

What image hosting do you use and why do you think it is better than other sites?
PS this ain't spam, I was going to rant about photobucket being stupid in the desktop screenshot thread but didn't

I don't arsed to stream games, apparantly I did once on Black Ops 2 (not that I did) but that never processed.

If I could stream BO1, to DAILYMOTION, I would (because I left YT a few months back for that site, yet never uploaded anything to it), though. BO1 was an actual good Call of Duty and in my mind the last good one.

Like the one in Vizzed Board, post your gaming opinions which are rather unpopular!

----------

For me: Ghosts multiplayer was good. Not to the extent of COD4, WAW, or BO1, but better than MW3 and the trash called Advanced Warfare. The campign is indeed shite, but MP had some interesting cool game modes (Blitz, in particuularly - upopularly I think it's one of the best COD modes ever) and maps.

My favourite COD game mode is Hardpoint (missing from Ghosts and my PS3 BO2 is broken, no one plays it on 360, so I have to go on Advanced Piece Of SHITE to play it), ANOTHER unpopular gaming opinion...

Even more! WAW, BO1 was the best COD games. Most people seemed to hate those ones at launch. Years later I love them. COD4 also the best. But that popular opinion, so no I may not put it here, perhaps.

I now use both AdBlock Edge and NoScript to prevent all this mess, with few exceptions (here and tcrf where it's disabled).

I previously used imgh.us to store the drunk mood avatard, but since I now use the Schezo avatar they were axed. You can name the image youself and it's name is stored as-is on the server, but the interface was so bad I've only used it once.

I mostly use imgur for convenience, even though it kills image after six months of no clicks.

A good trick for that is to occasionally use a proxy to view the image and it shouldn't delete.
I found also a rant about image hosting sites, too (why they send so much useless garbage when retrieving and uploading images, and other such things). But I won't post it here.

PhotoBucket is probably good, maybe. Also, it says 'Zip Code' so pb is useless in the UK, I don't know.

Allprog is unblocked at school so I can upload images anytime and view them anytime, useful when I made a forum before I knew what hosting was.

I think the betrayal of Nintendo will come, if you hate MKDD.

That's a start to our ways. I can see your point, since the graphics between both games do seem similar but I don't have a way of looking into the code, even then I would not understand.

(if this gets enough interest I will make a site, but I won't be doing any hacking myself unfortunately)

*Microsoft Sans Serif
*Impact
*Segoe UI
*Awesome (the one used on AcmlmBoard text)

I like Times New Roman but not as a webdesign interface, I don't know why the CSS/HTML bloke who designed it said Times New Roman should be the default font, that's being a big prick.

(Sofi, your layout seems to stretch to the end of eternity)

But I would like to install Debian or Mint without a CD or USB since I use a netbook and have no USBs free. How would I?

I never said it was shite-arsed (note it's in quotes) and I KNOW it's nothing to do with other users.

Nothing else likes to work on my machine, Jul doesn't seem to load at all in Firefox 39.0.3 and Opera 30, explaining why. And I am never installing that truly shite-arsed crap called Chrome.

(didn't realise that Awesome = Arial, another proof of my utter cuntcracy)

Yes, OK. I have opera and firefox already, both are sometimes slow as IE8 could be, for some reason.

Also this is becoming a place for that staple person to insult my choice of web browser, so this could be trashed, please?
