I actually was checking that link earlier when I was checking the article's "To Do" list. I didn't read much, but, what I did read I wasn't able to understand, so...

I actually forgot to post one of the pictures here.

EDIT: And another one. Go figure.
Sorry for posting this much stuff so late, I'm mostly grabbing the descriptions from Mario Wiki (with credit) but sometimes they just derp and don't put the description there.

Well, technically this is the first time I'm using the theme so I won't be "reliving the Jul Christmas experience". Everything looks so different...but it's actually kinda nice, so I figured, why not go one step further?

Oh hey, thanks for the idea.

This is the nice thing about having a simple layout code, you can easily change it during special events!

I kind of did it the (somewhat) lazy way by using W3School's color editor. I just change the color's hue/brightness values, and there we go, but I guess when you have that much CSS it's kind of problematic to go change it all. I just changed it because I had nothing else to do except for trying to figure out more Paper Mario stuff, don't tell anyone.

Oh, and since it's apparently your birthday Schezo, Happy Birthday!

Since at least 2008 according to the Web Archive (although it looks like it has only been in use "permanently" since 2009).

I really like this old banner for whatever reason:

I know the original poster is currently inactive, but this goes for anyone who wants thread notifications.

I personally don't see a point in watching threads (I've tested then in Enjin and I just think they look ugly). If you really want to save a thread for later, you can use the favorites feature (once in a thread, go to the top of the page, it should be right below the "new pool" button).

I like the idea of a RSS/ATOM, dunno how hard it would be to set it up but theorically it shouldn't be too difficult (apperently, the old board had it? don't know for sure though), although at the same time I feel like it would be redundant for most users since Jul has a Twitter bot that already does that, along with TempTina on the IRC chat. If anyone wants to get notifications about Jul in general, they could just use one of those.

So, apparently there was some sort of competition going on at GameFAQs? So I decided to check it out, it was for the best game ever made and it turns out, the logo they decided to use bears a striking resemblance to a certain game made by Stellar Stone. Seriously, look at this:

Yep. Unfortunately though, GameFAQs did not include Big Rigs - Over the Road Racing in their competition.

I mean, how could they do such a thing? How could they keep out one of the most influential games in history, whose elements are key components for many games out there, whose aspects are still being studied by some of the biggest game companies, how could they do this to Big Rigs?

</sarcasm>

Posted on 12-20-15 11:47:12 AM, in Glide Wrapper + The Typing of the Dead? Link
To my knowledge (and I don't know much about it), a Glide Wrapper emulates a 3dfx card's Glide API in OpenGL. It is necessary for any games that require Glide, because no graphics card supports that technology nowadays.

I don't know for sure, but I think it should work just by installing the Glide thing onto the computer and maybe enabling some compatibility options (right-click the game, Properties, Compatibility).

Another way you might be able to make it work is to download the DLL directly without the installer and placing it on the same folder as the game, that's how I have it setup on another application here. It should be glide3x.dll or something of the sort.

To be fair, I was going to delete them anyway, I just wanted to change a few things before it deleted them.

It has been a while, I've saw Windows 10 running in a few computers, I must admit, I am not happy with how it is. It's mostly the auto updates, that basically prevents me from ever switching to 10. I thought that maybe it wasn't so bad, but it is. Also, the stupid Metro apps. I know what they're doing, they're providing news apps for people to use and trick others into thinking "oh wait, the legacy one is still there so it's fine" until they can simply delete the legacy program and leave no other option except the Metro apps. Is it any wonder why Windows Media Player isn't getting any new versions? *sigh*

I'll be sticking with Windows 7 for the time being and maybe switching to Linux. I don't see myself using Windows 10. I hated W8, and in some aspects, 10 isn't much better. I was hoping they would fix more stuff, but they didn't.

Oh. I didn't even see this thread existed. (hey forum merge. how you doin')

Really liked the movie, it has been a while since I last watched a Star Wars movie, so I didn't remember many things about the previous ones, but enough to understand a few of the references they did. I watched it in 3D too, which was a blast. They really used great atmosphere for the movie, although I've heard people say that the characters felt a little too "meh". Apparently I watched it on one of it's last days on cinemas over here, so that was lucky.

I liked the movie.

So, I heard that all three movies are going to have different directors for whatever reason. Is that a common thing for Star Wars movies (or movies in general)? I never noticed that.

In 2035. It'll be a while.

Like Joe said, what this means is that you can use any older OS with Skylake processors, thing is, you lose official Microsoft support. That's it. Kinda like XP currently, you can still use it but Microsoft doesn't support it anymore.

This reminds me of the Magnavox Odyssey more or less, when it was released, there was a very well-spread rumor that it only worked with Magnavox TVs, so in the end way less people ended up buying it. Turns out, it works on any TV...well, at least any old TV. Technology has marched on since then but y'know, the point is, Microsoft is trying to do the same (somewhat) to, guess what, force everyone into Windows 10.

EDIT: (replying to Schezo's post which I meant to do but forgot, ooops) I remember trying to play a few Mario 3 hacks and, even though they were good, I didn't really enjoy them all that much. Then again, the NES Mario 3 isn't my favorite of the Mario series (if anything, I grew up playing the All-Stars version).

I haven't played any new games in a while, but I suddenly decided I would play one, specifically, one that I kept hearing about for some reason: uhh 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors. Thing is, I don't really know what to say. One thing I know for sure: if you play this game, you're in for one hell of a trip, it's craaaazy. There's stuff and things everywhere, everywhere, I tell you.

It vaguely reminded me of "Ace Attorney: Investigations" at moments for some reason, probably because of the mystery theme/atmosphere + the puzzle solving. The story is complicated, but if you look for all the clues you can piece it together (you'd need, not only, to pay attention to the dialogue but also to replay the game a few times). I wonder how they were able to make the story align like this (can't go into specifics, 'cause spoilers). The puzzles can be a pain if you're not all that clever (a.k.a. me), sooooooo yeah. It's an interesting game with an interesting story, that's the best way I'm able to describe it I think.

Two fonts that I've recently discovered and liked are Roboto and Merriweather, specially the latter (even though I generally don't like serif fonts).

I find Roboto better for standard basic web things and Merriweather better for more natural/landscape-ish things, which I guess makes sense.
