So, thanks to your video, I investigated further into the game and found enough information to create an wiki article:

I actually had another issue with the upload wizard. I tried to upload two image files (.png) and it didn't let me pass the "Release Rights" step no matter what option I selected. I just tried with a bogus file (one that I wasn't actually going to publish) and the same thing happened with one file.

Is that also a known bug?

Oh, oh. I can't create something fancy in so little time, so I had to stick with this:

 photo HEY-300_zps459b0db3.png

Hopefully I'm not too late. I've been watching tcrf.net for quite and while but only registered an username recently. I hopefully did this right and hopefully this can actually get into the birthday card without screwing up anything (if you need to, resize the image any way you want).

It's almost time!

I'm not sure it would help remove the slowdown, but I'm sure it wouldn't add to it either. Download Statusbar is an add-on that I used for a while before I switched from Firefox to Opera (Opera Blink is what they call the newer versions). It puts your downloads in a small bar below the page and lets you view their progress and manage it from the page itself. Its quite useful and isn't a heavy add-on, although it may not help you in any way.

You can also go to the Add-ons Manager and set the plugin Shockwave Flash to the option Ask to Activate so it only enables the Flash plugin when you want the website to (may not be very useful, again).

Other than that, I also agree that you should try...

This is one of my favourites.

Well...Japan does have a lot of crazy things either way, but I just happen to have found one in one of my favourite series of games! Seriously. A Train Simulator that's not only difficult (VERY VERY DIFFICULT) but also very fun to play and very not boring unlike a lot of other Train Simulators out there. Of course, it's only fun to play if you actually know what you're doing. Oh...should probably talk about the music, well, just listen to it, that's probably easier.

EDIT: Well...quite sincerely I think that The New Tetris' soundtrack is a better option than a single music clip from a random japanese game.

Well...there's one word I won't know the meaning of.

Wait, why am I replying? This isn't something constructive to say, wait, hold on...

...Oh, here's something: If you spam some threads you probably can pass 2000. If you overdo it though, you're probably going to have a really bad nice christmas present from BMF, provided if he actually pays attention to random idiot things people post.

Actually, I just searched what booping means and it quite literally means poking someones nose. I sneeze a lot though, so good luck with that!

My signature actually had the character —, so every single time I edited my profile I had to copy and paste the entire signature again. Same happened when I edited one of my posts. Now its fixed.

Funny thing is, for a while I was thinking that Jul was automatically deleting my signature because it had too many characters (even though there are definitely some bigger layouts out there, along with some very wacky ones).

For some reason, clicking on Xkeeper's username on the little Announcements thing (the one that currently says "Cookie system changed -- Posted by Xkeeper on 08-16-12 01:51:06 PM" on top of every single forum) redirects to an username with ID of 34 but clicking on his username everywhere else redirects to his actual profile (ID 1), including the actual post in the Announcements thread.

Is this a side-effect of the crazy code that can barely hold this website together a glitch?

Well, quite sincerely real life can consume a lot of time as is, the social networks just make everything worse with all those crazy things they do and those "friends" everyone has...but it's true, they do die off every so often, which is in fact a good thing. The forums are always here, never to disapper, hopefully, it would be really bad if the forums dissapeared. I have a lot of time to post on here now, which is why I am doing this. (I'm still working on some TCRF articles! No worries about that!) But, from what I expect, the next 3 years of my life will make me very busy so...well...Since it IS almost next year, I figured I should start posting here now. I guess that was my introduction to the forums, since I never really made one.

Also, I really wish there were more people posting here these days, but everyone knows that, unfortunately...

Yeah. Yeah. I know, too late to be using this meme...blah, blah, blah.

Mine is, well...do I really need to say it? For the sake of the thread's purpose:

Clearly, the most difficult username to spell in the entire world.

...Er, also! *ahem* Is a five months gap between posts considered a bump? I'm really worried that it might be. (Either way, I would never reply to a thread that is two months old or more, but two new replies were made today, so...)

So is that were your SMWCentral christmas username (EiEiPoo) came from? Either way, it probably means something entirely different in japanese.

Also you can use :meow: to make a smiley instead of ":3". Just in case you didn't know...there's also a smilies chart on the menu at the top of the page which includes the now defunct  smiley.

The one I hear mentioned a lot is Mint. No idea if it's any good because, like you, I'm not really up to speed on the latest and greatest desktop Linux.

I think that Debian might be the way to go. Its certainly not the easiest option, but once you learn a lot about what configurations to edit and this and that, it probably is a better alternative than Mint. Mint is...well...Debian made wrong/weird, it is slower so you might want to watch out. I dunno about Ubuntu, I have made my best to stay away from that thing for some reason, I don't really remember why. Also, as for more modern, you can use either Debian (with some edits of the configuration files) or Ubuntu. I'd recommend Debian, but its up to you! Ubuntu might not be a bad choice either, depending if you're lucky or not.

Well...andlabs actually says a lot more about it, but I just wanted to share my opinion.

As for desktop enviroments? KDE is good, but a little disorienting. XFCE is really good and easy to use and LXDE is a low-end computer solution, from my experiences at least. Probably not the best opinion since I'm not a Linux expert, but hey, it's what I've got from my experiences using Linux.

I always play Tetris when I need to spend a little time but not too much. Also a little bit of Super Mario Sunshine now and then.

But as of lately, I'm mostly playing one of my favorite games: Densha de GO! Professional ( 電車でGO!プロフェッショナル ) a japanese arcade train simulator. I'm trying to see if I can beat all of the stages, but its going to be difficult (stupid 4/5 difficulty stages) since this game is very difficult to beat, but at least it isn't unfair. I understand all of the game's mechanics thanks to a little program called Tagaini Jisho. It helped a lot with translating all of the japanese text I needed.

Posted on 01-20-15 03:25:35 PM, in Club Nintendo finally shutting down after over 6 years of service. Link
I was thinking it would be sad news but, if they are replacing it with a new service, then its finally time to start things the right way. The whole Club Nintendo thing would seem like a good idea, but it doesn't take much research to find out that it needs a better integration with the 3DS and Wii U (which is, hopefully, something they'll add in the new service). It was outdated, and I'm happy that it'll be replaced by something new, except for:

I feel like they could add a way for old members to transfer their coins to the new system, but oh well, at least you'll get those cool downloads/gifts as a prize. Its not sad for me, because I never used the thing, but mostly for other people. Everyone better redeem those products and spend those coins or else, they might miss a lot of cool stuff.

maybe now we can get a service that is actually available in all countries?

Yes. So much yes, if Nintendo is smart enough to do that.

Once I first got my Wii (in 2011, yeah, kinda late) I was very happy knowing that I could win prizes by redeeming the codes of the games I bought, but then: "only on the US" Really? *sigh*

We have to recognize that Nintendo is sometimes dumb (is the names of their new consoles any indication?) and they can re-release it again only on the US and nowhere else. If that happened I wouldn't be surprised, but majorly disappointed.

But hey, we can at least hope, right? Riiiiight?

This isn't that much of a achievement, but oh boy was it difficult to do this. Densha de GO! 64 at 100% (I was going to put a screenshot or a video here but NOPE technology is being a failure again).

It is way more difficult than you probably would think it is, and I'm proud that I was able to do it. I might try to record me trying to get 100% again, but meh, not really interested in doing that right now.

Either way, let me explain, Densha de GO! 64 is a great train simulation arcade game that is way more strict than any train line in the world. This "port" of the game (the original being Densha de GO! 2) is actually very difficult to beat.

You start a stage with 60 points, losing 5-50 when you break the rules and gaining 1-5 points when you try to be "clever" (a.k.a. trying to obey even more rules). Also remember that you lose points easily and gain points quite rarely.

If you lose all of your points, you'll get a countinue. Lose all of your countinues, game over, start the stage again. Once you do pass the stage, you get a star depending on how many countinues you got (Bronze=2+, Silver=1, Gold=0).

Did I mention that this game is unfair? Because it is. It is unfair.
