Posted on 08-03-14 03:00:38 AM, in Blood (Alpha version) - MIDI Files Link
(Already did an exact post like this on the talk page for it on the wiki, figured I might as well make one like this on the forums too. There also doesn't seem to be a search function either on here, so here goes)

A few months ago, I dug into the BLOOD.rff file that comes with this alpha and found MIDI files, none of which are found in the final game's files except for one, BLOOD9.mid which is used by the setup program to test your music card. I am however unsure about which MIDI files are used and unused in this build of the game, the only one I can think of is BLOOD7.mid which can be heard in the gameplay video on the main article's page (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8mSlF1RNoo). More interesting is that there was even a MIDI file for the Apogee logo, due to the fact that this alpha comes from when the game was being developped there, I believe. Warping to other levels does not seem to change the music either, and I don't remember finding an exit in the first level. I'm only assuming the game somehow only changes music tracks when the level is exited normally, and not by using the warp menu (which I completely forgot how to access.) I do however remember there being some sort of help file or help screen that showed what every key did in the game, but I also tried pressing every key on my keyboard, without success.

Thoughts?
