currently rocking this on w7 x64, works really good for a dev build tbh i also suspect it's managed to patch in the old plugin model into ff60 since it seems to be built off the ff60-esr branch, while there are .xpi's for the inbuilt irc and calendar stuff which couldnt be ported to webext afaik seamonkey itself is basically what existed after mozilla application suite split into ff/thunderbird and given since the past 3-4 years mozilla pretty much gave seamonkey a big 'fuck you' because ff was by that point completlely copying chrome (losing power users and gaining no one else because all the normies love chrome) in the process, they ended up stranded for the most part the fact this is built off 60esr's source makes me wonder if it would be an extremely feasible browser for today's use in terms of the non-mainstream internet user so worth checking out ![]() |

| Shame about the Chrome monopolisation then to the extent many newer devs ignore FF :/ |

Possibly they don't have a backup drive for their files and have used a lot of storage ![]() |

| In regards to StapleButter's comment, they dislike practically anything that seems to have been made in the modern Internet era generally due to the way a lot of the people who make new sites using functionality for the sakes of using them...
A notification system would be nice, and as you say, opt-in when needed (like for watched threads should that ever become a thing). |

RSS feed would be neat. No need to have an email then, as the board doesn't require them by default ![]() |

| Yeah, everyone who is pretty much below the age of about 20 and was around at least a short time before the Internet became mainstream in about 2012 is using Chrome. |

I can imagine it could run 98SE/ME with the processor and amount of RAM - bear in mind ME is the only 9x properly supporting 2GB RAM afaik out of the box - go ahead
XP would work but bear in mind the processor doesn't have SSE2 Oh: disregard my post haha, looks like you got sorted and also I'm glad someone else on the forum replied with recommending ME, it honestly it's just 98SE with some nicer necessities out of the box |

| What do you use for this out of curiosity? I'm aware there are a few options available if anyone does that.
Particularly wondering if anyone has tried VPC 2004 with it, though bear in mind you'd be restricted to XP x86 as a host OS. (Which is actually possible for me, since I have x86 XP installed on partition 1) |

| I feel like someone should try to recover the images on her layout and relink them just for preservation here. I noticed it would have been her 32nd birthday today and it's kinda sad seeing her layout is all broken here :c
Wayback machine's most likely to have backed them up some time or another. |

| Can someone go ahead and change my name to something generic and ban my account + blank the password out?
The same can also be done for Termingamer2-JD. Been thinking to myself and discussing with others about things that this sorta stuff just isn't for me anymore and hasn't really ever been, same goes for social media and the like too, so it's not really anything personal against this place. Once that's done this thread can just be deleted or something. |
