It's just a shame so many fake GBA carts exist on ebay and the likes and have no save batteries. Though gba was a brilliant console; the DS was a disappointement compared to it IMO because worse hardware relatively speaking and more shovelcrapo - oh and MKSC > MKDS anyday

Released yesterday in UK cinemas. Most of you are from the US but oh well.

It's quite obviously about Queen and despite what the critics have said it is a brilliant film with some emotion, humour, and at the core, great music.

@hydra yeah, the amount of clients is amazing, though it's a tad annoying that there isn't a good one for ios (mobile XMPP will drain batteries without relying on external notif services afaik)

but on the desktop it would be nice. anyone know a good one that's compatible with XP/Vista other than Pidgin?

Trump is one of those people who just appeals to every typical backwards-society supportive person. He's just a demented old man who acts like a 5 year old and doesn't know what it means to be a bloody fascist... :/

I'm running Vista SP2 on the exact same machine I first experienced Vista on and liked it since, an Acer/Packard Bell iMedia A3010UK from about 10 years ago.

It was a major improvement over XP. It just wasn't released when tech was ready for it, and drivers were poorly written for WDDM. :/

I hate those.

Also, my dad said he'd consider changing the router name and password after I told him the default passcode is very easily crackable. I told him maybe to set it to a Queen song and even mentioned this thread

Change the last and first ones, I'd suggest, but the second one sounds pretty nice ;3

Yeah a lot of people tend to forget that XP was only good after the 2nd service pack, lol.

@Xenesis the bulk of the ROM hacking community comes from EST or other US timezone, from what I'm seemingly able to tell.

XP 64-Bit was actually really stable, it just didn't have good driver support at all.

The reason it was still a good transition from XP is that it's really, if you were to trace it down far enough, a big leap/revamp of the NT 5.2 kernel used in Server 2003/XP 64 SP1.

UAC is annoying but it's there for a reason I suppose and there is the option to turn it off AFAIK.

W7 is also now unusable if you update it because of the spy patches and shady 10 backports hidden in security updates.

Works on 2008 webkit (PS3) so it should be fairly ok on old devices.

Currently using rather simple names because I'm unoriginal. I decided to revert back to using 'Jamie-PC' and 'Jamie-NB' (Netbook) for the Windows 7 x86 install on both computers.

agreed. especially if the content IS on disc and it's locked out until you pay for DLC, that's dumb, CAPCOM >(

also are you skyu/fiver or mercurypenny? I somewhat recognise your typing style, but i might be wrong

I don't even know why Discord is so popular tbh

They banned my friend Tishy for no reason, and are seemingly unable to ban people who actually are a threat or such...

Most people on it also refuse to use anything else and that aggravates me a lot, seems to me it has a monopoly and being the trendy IM of the next few years it will be such until the new one comes along and everyone immediately moves their friends there... and so the cycle continues
