The tech community is horrendous, especially programmers (open source). See: Pale Moon developers DMCAing an install script and then making bullshit claims as to why. Plus most of the "tech kiddies" around don't actually remember the simpler times, they don't know the facts and a lot of them are pervs tbh
Trust me I've been in those "tech fan discords". It was a dramafest hell.

Always been interested as it seems a feasable alternative to IRC that's actually proven and decentralised. I'd like to see a Jul XMPP instance tbh.

Not sure what you mean ... As far as I'm aware, it's just an old build that they made for W98 before deprecating support for it entirely.
I saw K-Meleon in your screenshot and remembered that there are unofficial builds now running the Goanna 3.4.2 layout engine, which is what an older Pale Moon uses (there's also a W2K port using 3.2 IIRC).

Has the free version of BitDefender been mentioned at all? I've heard it's pretty decent for an AV, compared to the likes of Avast.

Would that require the use of its own client though? XMPP will work almost anywhere (just like IRC)...

Taryn meant a lot to the people at kafuka too... especially Miss Dani mentions her a lot and it's really sad that I never got to meet her (and that if I did meet her I'd have been in my complete idiot days -.-) because she seemed a very nice person :/

I don't think I'm that interesting or a good member but feel free to ask me anything anyway
I'm not sure if this is against the rules, though, I don't think it says so anywhere

What's next, I know: segregation of the LGBTQ people and sending them to concentration camps? I honeslty wouldn't be surprised if that happened
This is absolutely pathetic though... legal discrimination at its fucking finest.

I do think I prefer XMPP by a pretty wide margin atm -- hosting is easy, it's not browser-based in really any regard, there's plenty of mature client and server software to meet different people's requirements... But any move away from centralized services makes me happy, honestly.
Yeah, XMPP is proven stable and as I said works anywhere fine, and alot of users here would want to chat using older devices sometimes most likely :p

I'll need a 1 day one due to different timezone and whatnot, and the fact I don't always check

Shame you never released that Kuriblog 1.3 source tho :/
I found 1.1 and mirrored it to github, it's feasbale for what I want to use but tbh i can't find a "good" blog software at all, kuriblog 1.1 complains when errors are on about a lot of things (but does work fine regardless on mysql 5.7/mariadb 10.1 and php7.3)
Wordpress is horrible to use, the only one i found that was ok was chyrp lite and that one uses markdown instead of allowing normal html formatting :/

This OS can allegedly run on a Pentium 3 with 128MB of RAM to hand over, though I'm running it on an Atom N270 (which has the processing power of about a Pentium 3 anyway) with 2GB of RAM.
I'm impressed so far. I only found it by chance when browsing the PCLinuxOS Forums, and it was explained as the only distro for someone who was able to fully replace Windows XP with it. While the aesthetic of the XPQ4 project matches almost exactly the Windows XP user interface, it isn't perfect, but for a free project it is considerably impressive! I'd suggest checking it out and installing the XP interface with it.
It does seem to use a network installer so don't expect installation to be fast but after that it works really nicely as previously described.

<?php
// proof
$languages = array("PHP", "HTML", "CSS")
echo array_rand($languages, 1)
?>
idk if this would work (it probably doesn't because I'm new to php), but heh. I don't understand any other language besides english in terms of spoken languages
also semicolons disappeared from my codeblock lol
