This was discussed earlier awhile ago in the IRC, I remember pinging XK and kak about it: could "Mobile" and "Phone" become a catch-all for triggering the mobile view? I think it appears in most UAs regarding mobile devices (iOS and Windows Phone respectively).

Also, wouldn't an effective way of blocking spiders be to ban the useragent matching "bot" or "spider" at .htaccess level (or whatever this server is using)?

In the case of Google and friends, they still have earlier non-blocked versions of your website and will continue to use that in search results, even if they are blocked in the future.

I thought eventually they just disappeared, after a while, but you're more than likely right on this.

Also a lot of abuse bots (ie ones that ignore robots.txt) still use bot at the useragent level - AhrefsBot and Semrush being two examples

Also board.kafuka.org is a good example of a site. Some Julers go there, me included.

That one started after blackhole failed to listen to anyone yet again (iirc it was Emuz and KP who were the driving members of starting Kafuka) after the split that caused Jul to happen. Though it's not actually about ROM hacking compared to most other ABs, it's more a general chat thing.

I might make a geocities esque website sometime soon, my main domain looks old tho

I have Blanka and Cammy POP dolls (Street Fighter II) and Cirno and Flandre plushies (Touhou). Most people in the Jul chat have seen the plushies and they're cute

I really need to learn how to use CSS properly. Thanks for fixing (i.e. removing), it should give me either a push in the right direction or common sense not to have a layout until I can actually use CSS properly (and have a relatively plain post compared to other users as a result, but that just signifes myself as a person more than anything)...

I want to clean my bedroom but I have zero motivation to do it, it just ends up in a mess a day later...

You mean as in effort and heartfelt that you get from the developers? I can say that Nintendo hasn't shown that in any of their releases in the last 14 years... the games may be quality but lack that heartfelt feeling that their older games have. Good on you for making this thread!

probably Only Fools and Horses, a brilliant UK sitcom from the 80s that set the bar pretty high for anything else to come after it

it went from being only viewed by 8 million in the first season to breaking TV records, John Sullivan singlehandedly revolutionised sitcoms at the time (most were set in middle class environment, OFAH is set in the Peckham working class environment!), which is probably why so many UK-produced ones in the 90s were really good and relatable

it also mixes a lot of drama in, gives you something to cry and laugh about ^^;

brilliant show.
