Man, it's been raining these days.

I still remember the other day I had to choose whether to take my huge and already broken umbrella or not. I chose to take it, and that was a good thing, since some time later the rain changed from virtually non existant (that is - it rained, but you didn't need an umbrella) to horribly heavy in less than a second. By now it's near 17°C

Today wasn't as bad, but still...

Also, somewhat related, my school has a "rule" that until the 21st October the radiator can NOT be on. As a result the differences of temperature between rooms is insane. Our is too cold for example while others are too hot.

Oh well.

It's time to study hard here. I'll have five class tests in five consecutive days, plus a writing test.
That can't be good.

I've been listening lately to chiptunes from this channel.

To be precise, to the whole Sonic 1/2/3K/3D and Spinball chiptunes, which I actually have a copy on my hard drive.

He is pretty skilled at Famitracker and the songs are all faithful to the original ones (except one, but I don't care much about that).

This just made me think that in a few days I have a Maths test. Well done!

Anyway, that's sure lots of interesting stuff. I wish I could understand Spanish better, though.

And the Sega Genesis, the Sega CD, and even the Atari 8-bit computers! Homebrew games are quite popular for most retro videogame consoles, although most homebrew games are not usually specially released as an actual cart/CD, but as a ROM file. The next best thing to an actual cartridge is to load the game's ROM into a flashcart, and then play on hardware .

In fact, for some consoles, homebrew development is very easy; take for example the Sega Genesis/CD/32x, which can be programmed via a specialized BASIC-like language, called BasiEgaXors, which I used to create a Sega Genesis/CD homebrew game called Tower Tic Tac Toe. Also, Atari 8-bit homebrew is easy to code, due to the fact that you can enter the code directly into the console via the system's keyboard and using Atari-BASIC. (Although, it is slow and tedious, since entering and modifying code is done command style-like). Heck, the Sega CD does not require a flashcart for homebrew, since the Sega CD will accept CD-Rs burnt with the rom's .iso image .

Well, this gives me somewhat some will to start learning programming. Like if that is ever going to happen.

BMF54123 and Xkeeper waited. They were trying to capture Kanye West, but he was too far in his Hip Hopping Career to be brought to the Captain's Lair. How would they capture him? Suddenly, Jimmy Kimmel and Josh Groban stormed through the window and proceeded to kidnap Kanye.

"Dammit," BMF54123 said. Xkeeper was mute, mouth ajar.

Minutes passed. Sighing, Xkeeper drew his katana and committed seppuku. But before he did so, explosions popped out of Will.i.am's stone statue.

Afterwards, the Eldrazi kidnapped BMF54123, leaving Xkeeper fighting King Daniels, the Supreme Leader of the Phyrexians. Meanwhile, in Canada there was mutiny afoot, as they were betrayed by literally everyone on Hook's Ship thanks to Kanye's influence. Chaos reigned.

Xkeeper was screaming, while the Joker grabbed a copy of Jessie J's Insanity Sword, that

And now, for something different...

My Nvidia Display Driver crashed. I almost thought it would blue screen on me.
Instead a message popped up saying among the lines of "Nvidia Driver has stopped working and has been reinstalled." with DWM off.

Less than five seconds later, it gave me a blue screen. Thank you display driver. You're the best thing ever.

Actually, that message appeared other times, usually when trying to watch a Youtube video with glitch pixels starting to appear, but it naver gave me a BSOD before.

EDIT: It happened again. this time without warning. It said about a driver trying to write in protected kernel area.
I had to disable the display driver so I can install an updated version... and it worked.

aaaaand Crash Bandicoot is done.

It sure was challenging, especially when you have to rely on the shadow to see where you'll land.
I didn't bother with 100% as I'm not ready for it yet (and I'm too lazy to see a FAQ).

I'll play this game for a bit of time... no wait, I won't.

I hate myself, so I'll play a frustrating game of Neverball instead.

Still on the Bubble Bobble 2 Arcade prototype.

I took a look at the graphics. Alongside all the different and temporary graphics (some of which survived into the final version), there is one thing that generally bugs me out.

This:

They managed to update this graphic, which was unused in the first game. There's also the "female" version of it.

------------
There are these weird "shock" animations. (can anybody assemble these tiles better?)

Also:

I have no idea where this would fit.

--------
All these graphics have been overwritten by the final version.
--------

There's a lot more unused stuff than this here and there. I may try to find and assemble them if I can.

Welcome to Robotnik's flying circus. The show lasts half an hour, but it only shows the same ten second thing looped all over again.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
