| EDIT: I'm going to revise since the old introduction didn't really say much about me/wasn't extremely well done. Here goes... I'm just another average user, I guess. I'm almost 14, which is a bit young compared to most people on the internet. It's not like there's anything I can do about it, though ![]() I'm a passionate musician and have composed around 200 songs as of now. I'm not absolutely great at it, but it's still a big hobby of mine that I really enjoy doing and have fun watching myself improve at (not to mention it can be a great social portal from time to time). I'm also working on a game of my own right now too, codenamed "A Musician's Log." It's only been in development for about a month, but I'll probably show some stuff around soon. There's not a tremendous amount of other things I have to say. I'm pretty friendly as a general rule. As long as you don't try stirring any chaos around with me, I won't either. Don't be shy. Looking forward to making some awesome e-friends here! |

| Dang, it seems like every time I have a game/show/other media item I like some jerk in the staff team comes in and ruins something great about it. Definitely staying clear of the ports, as much as I hate to D: As a player since the release, though, I am pretty hyped for the potential release of 1.2 (sometime in late May/June, I've seen reported). The new content in that wintry video looks pretty nice, and hnnnnnngggggg that song is awesome (derp, assuming it will be part of the game). |

This place really has a less formal talk forum than SMWC's, if I may (it looks a lot like the talk form there from pre-2010, actually). That could be for better or for worse, I guess ![]() Anyway, I think this thread is a good idea (and, ooh, a juicy one too). Personally, I think it was probably back in the 3rd grade when I threw another kid into some sliding mirror door, smashing it and sending glass everywhere - his back was a mess. But hey, he had been pawning me for the past year with no resistance on my part and probably wouldn't have stopped. He certainly didn't mess with me after that. ...though something still makes me wonder if I went just a bit overboard. Eh, it's probably just the $300 we had to pay in repairs ![]() How about you guys? |

![]() Oh, I'm sorry. Was my warning not clear enough? Anyway though, I'm passionate about composing music and hope to make it a career someday, as some of you from SMWC may know. Here three random tracks I'm proud of are. They aren't too substantial or really anything new for those who've been following me already, but hey: Basic Electrons Frozen Nebula Fanum Silva Please do comment on some videos I have up, or in this thread, or wherever. I love getting feedback/support/candy/belly button lint for my work. Expect some updates soon, maybe with some art! |

You get a permit by answering a few basic questions when you're 14 and from there your license evolves at you age (permit at 14, intermediate restricted at 16, intermediate unrestricted at 17, and Class D at 18). There aren't any physical tests at all. |

You know, I'm just going to make a suggestion here that you might have better luck on ebay/amazon/some other sort of site. I mean, I don't think you're going to get rid of all that through the people on here and your 17 tumblr followers. I'd buy some stuff if I actually had a way to pay you though, sorry ![]() -------------------- Sig for rent. |

We just got up to 86 here in Tennessee. Being a cross-country runner, I really liked it a few months ago when we were in the 40s and I wasn't sweating gallons (really, it starts to get uncomfortable even in the 60s). Eh. -------------------- Sig for rent. |

Ten. Ten posts. Ten posts. Yes, you read that right. I have posted a whole ten times - more than hundreds of other users here - and now hold one of the strongest numbers in the whole land. Ye underlings, surrender to this indestructible, all-powerful postcount or be destroyed! ...where's my staff promotion? -------------------- Sig for rent. |

Lots of people (on both sides) struggle with this issue, I know - myself included - but I don't usually see it brought up in forums: the idea that content in a movie/game/song/book/whatever can get too explicit, and then the question of where to draw the line. I'd like to hear about other people's opinions on this, and feel free to post any stories if you have any. Personally, I don't draw much of a -moral- line - my parents, who didn't let me watch things like the old Star Wars (and give me a hard time about MLP) due to moral obligations, probably influenced that thought train a bit. I can make arguments against most of that stuff being "immoral" and probably win. On the other hand, though, I do think that too much exposure to strong violence/horrific imagery probably isn't a good influence on people. I also draw a bit of a "stupidity" line, I'd say - mostly stories that sacrifice plot for gore/sexuality (I'm not going to spend much time on examples, but think some of the later Saw movies, Rambo 4, God of War and the like). I'd actually consider myself as having a pretty major bloodlust, but I do feel like the standards for a good movie should be higher than just a camera and a bottle of ketchup. Your thoughts on all this? -------------------- Sig for rent. |

I don't know the first thing about photography (I'm the music guy art-wise, seriously), but I still thought I'd comment that I really love the first and last ones you posted - the dam and the train (both taken from a high angle (?)). If you don't mind me asking, what kind of equipment do you use for taking these, and how much effort goes into each one? They're all very nice. -------------------- Sig for rent. |

I watched Jurassic Park 3D last week, which was actually my first time ever to see that movie. Needless to say, the movie itself was decent, though the 3D was a bit underdone. I probably should have just watched the original, but yeah. -------------------- Sig for rent. |

You know, my mom actually had a 650D for a long time, but she despised it and said she wouldn't buy from Canon again. I'll ask her exactly why and share it with you guys, I guess; it looks like a good camera. (I'm going to try this soon!) -------------------- Sig for rent. |

So, this just came out. The more I think about the whole EG thing tough, the more I feel like it's chanceworthy. I mean, the design isn't perfect by any means, but it looks at this point like it could, just maybe, work out. Or maybe not. Cripes, what is happening to me >_> -------------------- Sig for rent. |

Three new compositions I did last week: "8-bit" Composed for a sewer, but you could go where you please. It was somewhat inspired by the music of S.N.N.'s game, Project Pixlar. "Jubar Waterfront" A short theme using mostly a harp. I felt like it. "Cursed Floodgate" A theme for a haunted dam, if that's not random. I still need to mix the end together a bit. Enjoy, and thanks so much to anyone who gives me feedback! -------------------- Sig for rent. |
