I'm loving these smilies...but I still need the old . Is there some instructions on Pidgin's site about how to mess with this smiley theme files? I'm thinking should be :wafl: and the old  should be .

Aw, that would be bad ass! I want waffles with the old  faces on them for breakfast tomorrow D: Maybe bring a sound effect playing device that plays a "Dur dur dur" sound when a waffle is lying on the plate unharmed and a "AGH DON'T EAT ME" sound when I snack on the doofy looking thing. ![]()

It's a bit late to join the fun, but I will say this: For such an odd method of randomly piecing an "album" together, some of these turned out pretty good. ![]() ACMLM's did especially, of the ones I glanced at for more than a second.

I hate those. I love, however, thin crust pepperoni and italian sausage mediums from Pizza Hut...especially when I get the whole thing to myself. I can't really eat more than a medium at once...or could I? If it's good enough, I probably could. Pizza Slut usually is. Also, as for being just hungry all the time, how's this: Last night, after tossing and turning for 2 hours (lol, parents tell me to shut up and go to bed at 11; I'm used to falling asleep at 3), I get hungry and dig the bag of chips I brought back from college out of my bag. Guess what I made a mess out of eating in the dark instead of trying to sleep?

Close enough, though. I had a bowl of this shit: ![]() It's alright. Not the stuff of champions (I was sad to see the Cap'n Crunch box missing :/), but it curbed the hunger for a bit. Yes, I've been playing too much Super Mario Galaxy, and use the phrase "curb hunger" too much now. Something like 3 or 4 days straight, all day, getting another 120 stars in just 2 of those days.

I went ahead and picked 40. It probably used to be 30, but I decided that instead of listening to my parents bitch about how they don't like me taking long showers even though we have plenty of hot water that I would just enjoy it all I want. I think I spent an hour in the shower once. My mind wanders a lot (probably more than the rest of you).

I used to like Grape Nuts. I'd even have them warmed up with some orange juice instead of milk or whatever was suggested on the box. I haven't found any in a long time, but I bet I wouldn't like them any more. XD

Life is pretty awesome stuff, yeah. My problem is, I get tired of having the same thing for breakfast every morning, Cap'n Crunch or Life, or whatever. I think chocolate Pop Tarts are about the only thing I could consistently eat for breakfast as far as "small breakfasts of the late 20th and early 21st century" breakfasts go. I could probably have a french toast platter from Denny's with bacon and sausage and maybe someone else's eggs (eggs don't come with it...wtf?) one the side every morning, though.

It's been a long time since I was so quick to download someone's hack and start playing it (I dug through files on my jump drive to get out my SNES control settings for my Logitech USB controller and everything so I could get into this as quickly as possible). However, SNES9x is a bit laggy, and so is the game. Combine that with slippery surfaces and you have problems. I've 100%'d the original game, so even though I suck, I still think I can say "it's a bit difficult". Lots of cases where you can't afford to take any damage at all - I suppose this is alright, since this is obviously a strategy based hack. No timer, lol. Speaking of which, the timer bonus points that are "calculated" at the end of the level...you should see about disabling that, since there aren't any. Or are there timed levels later on? I haven't even beat the fortress at the beginning of world 2 yet, so I can't say. Anyhow, it'd be nice if you looked into making the jump button work in more situations. I'm really twitchy and will jam left and right on the D pad in an effort to get Mario to stay on a ledge after landing a tacky jump, and usually the only way I can get him to come to a safe stop is to jump again. And then I realize I can't, because my jump button doesn't want to do anything, and because of the consistency of this I'm thinking it's the game and not the controller (but it could just be the lag). There seems to be all too long a time frame when Mario is sliding that he can't jump. Put a somersault jump like the one from Mario 64 in there, that'd really be sweet. :3 (I'm kidding, but if you do it I'll love you.) Anyhow, the "can't afford to take damage"/"have to keep your power up for long periods of time" thing is a bit too brutal in some cases, at least given that these are just the first two worlds. Also, I have no shame in admitting that I tried to use some codes to see more levels, instead of wasting time dying over and over on levels I had already seen all of but couldn't actually beat (I really can't stand Super Mario World's aerial control). None of them worked; did you make it like that? Edit: A general rule for those who want a shot at an entirely positive review from me: don't allow the player any way of getting into a situation through natural play that forces them to suicide in order to get out of a trap. ESPECIALLY don't make the player have to reset the game. I haven't seen the latter, but I've had to off myself a few times when I used fire flowers as shields instead of as a means of progressing (I'm not used to having to have a fire flower). Edit again: I can't even figure out how to use the numbered blocks in the second castle. Are they not implemented yet?

I used to like mini wheats. Then I realized it takes too much milk to keep them from drying out my mouth (they're really dry :/). Also, (re: HH) YEAAAAAH MAN, I'M HIGH ON LIIIIIIIFE

Well that's just it. I HAVE the password. When I hit the blocks it doesn't do anything.
Spoiler: It's 5243 if I recall. Is that it? Edit: Weird, I just kept hitting the blocks and it finally let me through. That was odd... Edit: This is a great hack, but I've yet to finish it - I have 19 of the 20 exits, but I can't figure out how to take the secret exit in the Pianist's Rest. It looks like it has something to do with that silver pipe, but the ice it's encased in is a bother. I can't tell if it's a clever puzzle or a migraine. D: |

Ah. Yeah, it was driving me nuts, so I had a look at the level in LM to see if there was an exit there. I think I found where it's supposed to go, and I noticed that some of your exits were hard coded, so I thought there may still have been an exit even if it didn't show up in LM. Guess not, though. I'm really loving the Staccato Swamp graphics.

I personally thought one of the instruments was being over used, and that songs started off well and then got repetitive. It also felt like the same song was being played over and over, but I didn't really listen close enough to discern.

Where did that AMAZING SPC of MK64's Rainbow Road come from? Also, the fact that SPC versions of later games' music sound better than many SNES games' original soundtracks makes me think that Nintendo wasn't using the SPC engine to its fullest. ![]()
