I use vgmtoolbox, and it comes with the ability to handle CD-ROM XA files (like the voice samples in Ape Escape).

I think these sites have a few things that aren't in the wiki (hard for me to confirm them, it's in japanese)

Could someone translate this? I'm sure the translation on the wiki is wrong, as at least the first line says "Thank you, Konami", I think.

The best way to get people to see if there are any differences, is generally to release the roms. That way, there are many people looking for different things, and as the saying goes, "many hands make light work".

Hey, we're not seeing any released roms, and as Xkeeper has said, none of this can go on the wiki anyway. If you want to see any in-depth analysis of these prototypes, then the best way is to release them, not keep them tucked away where a simple mechanical failure, a rogue virus, or a myriad of things can happen, and they'll be gone for good. When preserving prototypes, the best way is to think pessimistically. That way, everyone benefits, from the owner knowing that they have contributed something major to the community, to the curious wondering what went into the production of these games.

Listen, what everyone is saying is basically, release the roms for everyone to look at, or GTFO . Stop waving your screenshots around showing us what we cannot have, due to the sick pleasure you get out of hoarding these roms and getting everyone else to do the dirty work without giving anything back in return.

You disgust me.

Seven of these (Autonomous, Black Lake, Costume Quest, Hack n' Slash, Happy Song, Spacebase DF-9, The White Birch) were previously released in the Amnesia Fortnight 2012. The only new one (at least, for me) is the Brazen prototype.

GameCube SDK? Meh.
I've got DS(i) and Wii SDKs plus documentation (how I found the iQue workaround) and Wii U platform (NOTE: does not include SDK, kinda useless without it). Quite some stuff there.

We could stumble onto even older, or newer test levels. The one thing that boggles my mind is why they didn't use Link's body adaptive shadow for OoT 3D, since it goes unused in the original. It would've been a nice touch, and a few beta stage screenshots have it, or is it the A-B reversed stage of OoT's developement? Our issue with extraction though, is that we can only access the SD card, so only the downloadable version, not the cart will work. I have the cart, so I can't do it.

The cart versions (USA, Europe, Japan, and Taiwan) have all been dumped by scene groups. If you were to extract the download version from your SD card, it is encrypted with console-unique keyslots which are stored in the NAND partitions in the encrypted flash memory. The problem isn't with getting a binary version of the game (ROM), it is with the fact that the 3DS is armed to the teeth with encryption.

Otherwise there would be a lot of unlicensed unlicensed games and a few licensed unlicensed games. I wonder if there would be any unlicensed licensed games?

Fallout 2 has half of a quote from the developers unused, because they went over the text-length limit.
