It's currently snowing, but not much. Not enough to cause trouble, that is.

Earlier in this Winter, we got epic snow, though. I took a pic of my garden after it: big image

That happened during a weekend, and caused Monday's courses to be cancelled. Snow always causes a lot of trouble in France :/

Here is my face.

Some of you may already have seen it though. It's also a bit old.

You can try googling for the extensions. If it gives no results, your only way will be to revese-engineer the formats and make a player for them.

Or if all you're interested in is the sound, you can try searching Youtube.

While I think more competition is always good, I feel doubtful about certain of their choices, especially powering everything with HTML5.

HTML5 is progressing for sure but it isn't as powerful as something like Java or C#. It's also more limited in terms of functionality, what about apps that need to access the phone's storage or some other system feature?

Of course, they could equip their browser core with special extensions granting system access to apps, but it would have to be done right. If such extensions aren't properly isolated from the web browser side, it could lead to all sorts of exploits.

I also wonder how they will provide apps; will they be going the appstore route like everyone and their mom, or will they do something more original?

You'll need programming and reverse-engineering knowledge. If you don't have it and aren't willing to learn it, you should look into the other solutions I posted about.

Looks like we won't be getting no more snow for this year. The weather is being all boring.

I remember a few years ago, at high school, it snowed during the day, and I had a snowball battle with some classmates in front of the high school

What was less cool though, is that I had to walk in snow for one hour to get back home. High school decided to close at 3PM due to the snow, and they said buses were cancelled. A bus then arrived but there were more people waiting for it than the bus could hold, I decided to not bother with that bus.

Good thing something like that has never happened since I'm at university. I just couldn't get back home on feet. It's already taking me nearly one hour to get there via buses...

Another solution could have been applying the following style to both banners:

width: 50%; max-width: [X]px;

where [X] is the width of the banner image. That would force the banners to shrink down if they were too large to fit onscreen.

Or there's also overflow:hidden; .

I figured it might interest people here as well too.

This blog software is lightweight and easy to use. It's not provided with much features though, so if you want something full-featured you'd better use something like Wordpress.

Download

It has the following features:
* Blog entries and comments
* Acmlmboard style powerlevels
* Generally, Acmlmboard style
* RSS feed
* Option to let guests post comments
* IP banning

It is also customizable easily. You can, for example, make it interact with an Acmlmboard. Heck, you can probably make it interact with phpBB too... if you're crazy enough, that is.

Install instructions
* Upload the files in the archive to your server
* create a MySQL database
* browse to install.php in your browser
* enter your SQL server details and click the button
* delete install.php and install.sql
* register an account to your new blog and configure stuff

The installer will probably say "MySQL error / Installed successfully". If it doesn't say anything else, you can ignore it. It's a weird bug somewhere...

Posted on 03-12-13 07:20:29 PM, in Any -complete- NSBMD documentation? Link
Not bad.

About matrix stack and all, I remember that SM64DS's models have something for that. Basically, in display lists, matrix push commands refer to IDs that are mapped via a series of tables to a geometry node. The transform settings of that node are then used to render all the oncoming geometry.

NSBMD's must use something similar.

Another possibility is that the models are made to render with certain transforms that are only present at runtime. Given how model files generally work, it's not likely, though.

I've never kept a serious one.

I had some as a kid, but I don't count them as serious. They were mostly made of childish crap like 'my sister is dumb', or some game where my sister and I would spy on our parents.

I usually keep most of the stuff in my head. Sometimes, when it's bugging me, I'll eventually find someone to talk about that to them, making me feel better.

Seems something got corrupted badly in your system.

I'd try booting in safe mode and reinstalling the faulty drivers. If that doesn't fix it, you'll have to reinstall your whole OS...

Today, while I was waiting the bus, a few snowflakes fell.

It felt weird because it's too warm for snow normally. It's about 6°C...

If this repeats, it means infinite processors for you.

You can either build up the world's most powerful supercomputer, or sell them to make a ton of money. Your pick

I had no inspiration for a joke.

I did something on my board though. Staff overhaul. All the current staff get banned, normal users become gmods, and banned users become admins. One particularly childish and dumb individual is chosen to rule the new board.

Except of course it was fake.
