Considering that the article suggests that the type of controller infringing on the patent is a "3D controller with vibration", by N64 you'd better mean "one in which you buy the rumble separately".

In which case, I must say "no".

YES! Make a strong stance against... people... who... want to be able to easily cancel their subscriptions?

Unless you really enjoy jumping through hoops to stop paying monthly, I'd think most people would be happier with this kind of legislation.

(Well, assuming it can get passed more places so the companies don't just go "lol Illinois" and kick out the whole state.)

Because obviously they all woke up, immediately got on the game, and did nothing else that day, right?

Most people get on that kind of game in the evening. Say... 6-7 PM, giving a chance to the people in other time zones to get on. And given that, besides those two, most battles only take a few hours tops, they probably expected to be able to get off and go to sleep at 11-12.

Most people aren't accustomed to staying up beyond 24 hours.

Well that sucks.

I liked Atlantis. And I don't consider occasional movies to be a valid replacement for a weekly TV show.

Trying to make a new series to attract a younger audience sounds like a recipe for failure.

More of a side story. They only really meet up in a few places; Atlantis began around the 3rd episode of SG-1's 8th season, and then they synch up again at the end of that season of SG-1, which was right before the end of that season of Atlantis. After that, the only place I remember the two series even roughly coinciding is a couple episodes into the most recent Atlantis season, which is right before Stargate: Continuum.

Also, one or two more episodes of either series references the other, albeit in a way so that the actual time doesn't matter too much.

A bunch of errors dealing with variable names not having quotes around it, if I had to guess; it was complaining about not being able to find 'variable', assuming it was instead variable in (filename here).

It looked very messy, but the board still functioned.

See, I've been stuck living in places inundated with mosquitoes. To me, spiders are awesome because they may occasionally kill and eat some of the little buggers.

Goddamned mosquitoes.

Sounds like a graphics card problem.

My desktop back home does that occasionally, but at least ATI drivers come with that GPU reset feature so the screen just kinda freaks out for a few moments, goes black, then fixes itself.

(Goddamned VisionTek graphics cards. Never had that problem with anything else...)

This game.
Is awesome.

Just thought I'd let everyone know.

Why? Simple; these guys:

(Phan-phan was only in the GBA remake, but the rest were all in Kirby's Adventure.)

Also, possible spoiler.

Oh, and a mode in which Meta Knight goes through the entire game, beside the fight with Meta Knight (gee, I wonder why?), the castle in Great Cave Offensive, the place you get Copy from in Milky Way Wishes, and the fight with Marx (he fights someone else instead).

There's also a more difficult Spring Breeze called "Revenge of the King", an abbreviated arena in which you play as a Helper called "From Helper to Hero", and an arena with all the new bosses (including the pumped up versions of the Spring Breeze bosses from Revenge) called "The True Arena".

Revenge of the Meta Knight and the RPG boss in Great Cave Offensive got new translations, too.

It's just like most other surgery. If you need it, the pain is worth it because it's better than the alternative (usually, more pain).

Oral surgery sucks in general. Taking things out, putting things in... Pretty much always leads to blood, trouble talking, and trouble eating.

Helper to Hero's not too bad.

Use Bugzzy. Suplex slaughters most bosses, with the main exception of Meta Knight and Computer Virus.

(Although at least it's easier to fight Meta Knight with it this time around, since he creates grabbable projectiles with more of his attacks now.)

GIM and TAC are pretty good, too. Even if you can't actually copy abilities with TAC...

True Arena is a pain and a half. First six are pretty easy, but then the next two are somewhat challenging and the last two are seriously difficult, not the least because of the limit on health.

Yeah, the second to last boss is a serious pain. Doesn't help that if you get rock, it'll take the opportunity to sit right on top of you until you turn back to Kirby, at which point you'll get rather hurt. Also, those enemies it spawns aren't useful at all if you're Kirby, just if you're Meta Knight... If you have Suplex, you can't even grab one and throw it at him. I guess you could use them if you have no ability...

Spoiler:
Marx Soul
does actually have a few extra attacks, like the paint one. Most of its difficulty is just from the fact that you've already used up all your health before that, really.

Also, the new graphics are quite nice. With the exception of Cutter. I miss the old, refined-looking blades; not such a fan of the big, clunky ones.

Where did Nintendo go?

You're talking about the company that, in the days of colored, backlit screens and networking (albeit wired at the time) released a system that had four colors, all of which can be described as "green".

They then re-released said system in a smaller package with the revolutionary feature of a screen that actually allowed for gray instead of green. Still no backlighting, though.

The GBA was released with the single worst screen on a handheld I've ever seen; in order to tell what's on it, you literally had to have either full sunlight (sunset/sunrise wouldn't work, and in fact would make it impossible to play without heavy curtains) or no background light at all besides one being shone on the screen at a proper angle.

The GB Micro was just a GBA made smaller with no GB support (and maybe a better screen? never compared it to an SP).

So you tell me. Where have they gone?

Also, considering that the Gamecube is out of production, there's no difference in their eyes between releasing Wii versions of GCN games and re-releasing the GCN one. If it's still priced the same, what does it matter?

Besides, plenty of people don't have the Gamecube one, and I think they'd prefer getting one that doesn't require them to also drop money on a memory card. Or Gamecube controllers, if they don't have any. Those things are $25 a piece, if you've forgotten.

Actually, they do. They call it Movies & TV so they can include things like Blu-ray as well.
Considering how Blu-ray shows up under the DVD sections anyways, I don't see why they made the change.

Unless people really are that stupid...
It may have something to do with the fact that a lot of software comes on DVD-ROMs, or possibly to make it so that they don't need an extra Blu-ray label or something. Renaming it TV/Movies means that they'd never have to change the sign again, barring wear and tear. And they'd have to deal with that anyway.

I honestly never got the point of that...
I'm going to have to guess they're trying to make it so that it's not just Waddle Doo with a jetpack. Granted, the face looks somewhat less than amazing, but it's the thought that counts.

Best time on Helper to Hero is 5:03 with Bonkers.

But I don't enjoy hammer that much. Best with Bugzzy is 8:12.

(Best on True Arena is greater than 10 minutes, so I prefer to not talk about that.)

Assuming that you're right in that Powell was kicked out (by a republican administration) and is still upset about it, how pray tell does that make it true that him recommending Obama is because of race or "elitism"?

Got a 41-45" HD CRT in the living room at home (I think; don't remember dimensions exactly beyond "kinda big"), and either a 19 or 22 inch widescreen LCD in my dorm. I remember looking for a 19" or greater one, and finding a pretty good deal on that one.
