| Light Crystal
Light Crystals provide protection from Dark Aether's atmosphere. They can be nullified by dark energy, or super charged by light energy. They were created by the Luminoth during the war with the Ing, and many still remain in use. Dark creatures despise the Crystals:some are injured or killed by the field they create. So yes, breaking the "staff thing" would be bad. It would also mean the end of the comic, in all probability ![]() |

| Absolutely nothing about Blair Witch struck me as entertaining, although I haven't seen it.
Did like Cloverfield, though. The special effects were amazing, too. |

| Unless they stop making non-mainstream games?
I can see it now: "Square-Enix changes its name to Final Fantasy VII, Inc." (There go the chances of a new Chrono sequel ) |

Originally posted by TanksYou know, it's funny. I don't think I really enjoy games that do everything in their power to beat you, including sloppy controls (early Castlevania), constant instant-kills (Adventures of Link; don't pretend the game didn't have plenty of enemies waiting offscreen to knock you into pits if you dared to jump without knowing they were there), or loose death conditions (Donkey Kong). Some of the best games of all time were created without going all-out to try to beat the player. Or are you going to tell me that Sonic 2 GG is better than the Genesis one, Metroid is better than Super Metroid, or that Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels is better than Mario 3? |

Originally posted by Kles Depending on your choice of major and what classes you take, your schedule for courses tends to be quite flexible. Of course, I've been forced into taking 8 AM classes 5 days a week, but that's atypical at best. Originally posted by Kles That's a pretty common perspective, from what I've seen. Believe it or not, plenty of schools are willing to let you take a while to see what's there; mine actually forces you, if you plan to major in any engineering discipline, to spend a year surveying the school's engineering fields. To be honest, though, a lot of people actually graduate college and go into a career path with nothing or next to nothing to do with the major they were in. Most employers seem to care more that you completed college than what you did in it. |

Quick, easy, and the errors seem to be becoming less and less common. |

| Inti Creates is the same group who did the first three Mega Man X games, too.
...I enjoyed them (and the Zero/ZX series), at least. |

| Given that a fatal crash is defined as one in which you die, I'm not sure saying that helps anything. The point to the law is that what would (probably) be fatal for someone that small would likely not be fatal for someone else. |

Originally posted by Neko54123That's what I meant, yes. Probably should've been more clear on it. Originally posted by Eon Mario!!! It that really you??? I think your standards are just slightly too high. After all, the Phoenix Wright games have some of the best localizations I've seen--I don't think a couple of errors (I'm thinking the count is about 3 per game) really detracts from it that much. (We won't talk about the voice acting in Mega Man 8. Bass is not a fish, after all.) |

| Website here.
Takes place 20 years after the end of Diablo 2; so far they've posted a cinematic trailer as well as a good bit of gameplay footage, quite a few screenshots, artwork, and information on a few areas and a couple of classes. Unfortunately, nothing has been said about whether online play would be free or paid. Regardless, this is pretty big news. |

| Rumor has it that Starcraft 2 is due out this December. It's hard to say how plausible it is, though... |

| Pretty sure they're temporarily banning that stuff so they can investigate. Better to inconvenience people somewhat for a little while than to have them get sick; if it turns out that the actual food is harmless, it will get unbanned.
I mean, tomatoes came back pretty quickly. |

Now we have to worry about someone competent getting into that position. |

| I looked around the site; aside from having a couple of nifty little metal figurines, it also looks like the game will in fact only come out for the Wii.
At least, I can't find anything suggesting it'll come out on other systems. |

Neither of which is going to have that issue. Somehow, those also seem to be the same two groups who may be willing to spend 300 dollars on a flashlight. |

Originally posted by ImajinThey did that once or twice. It sucked. (Speed is not the essence of Sonic. The best games in the series let you run full-tilt... only occasionally. The rest of the time, you're being more cautious and dealing with spikes and enemies and finding secret passages.) |
