I think I actually have a score for it somewhere, I'm going to play it again later when my fingers aren't bitter cold.
But yes, there is one part in Black which I usually lose on cuz I lose my place when keeping track. Two greats was my best so far. Had it not been for that third 1/16th note stream, I woulda AAA'd this!

Best advice I could get is play a lot to know where the enemy is coming at. They do basically the same stuff a lot and you get the idea of what will happen next. It's still a fun challenged though to not screw up!

Shame on you for taking so long to love the game though!

I hope to be making some large editor for all the games in Super Mario All-Stars if you wouldn't mind hacking the SNES version. But don't expect anything soon until I at least get some education in C++ programming.

I tell you this as a (once) avid SNES and SMAS hacker. All-Stars is a 2.00MB ROM. Using Lunar Address, it can go as high as I think 8MB. You quadruple its size giving an extra 6MB of free space to add extra whatever you want!
This is the reason I undoubtedly prefer SNES hacking over NES is because expansion is regularly not a problem for small ROMs. You can keep the other 3 (or 4) games in there and maybe even hack a few of them without worries.
I should know.

And with that, I have conquered all Extreme songs on singles and doubles. That is indeed doubles, the damned glare is in the way! For proof, add up all the steps, it's not 500 like Singles.
My next goal is to finally beat Boss Rush Episode II. I just fail at the very ending of Chaos!

Technically, it's my friend's phone. When I hit the last freeze arrow, I screamed, "Take a picture! Take a picture dammit!"

As for White, I admit that right now, I cannot beat it. However, I've yet to put in the effort of trying to beat it like I did with Black. I've been more focused on the SN2 songs and actual DDR these days.
