I spent way too much this past christmas--I bought a Wii package that contained 3 games of my choice (zelda, fire emblem, bleach), a charge station, a nunchuk, a 2nd wiimote, and last, but not least, a wii.

I am also happy about the fact that I only spent 10 minutes trying to find a wii. I feel bad for the people who spent weeks, if not months trying to find one.

yeah, i don't anticipating using my wii very much. I start school in less than 6 hours . When school starts, it means the amount of time invested to playing games goes to zero.

However, I used it yesterday (just to make sure everything I bought worked) and my arms are sore xP I think I played too much wii sports. It is either that or all the lifting I did to fill the trunk of the car I was riding in finally caught up to me. Yeah, I bought the wii on my vacation Thank you Fry's Electronics in Las Vegas.

I don't stay informed enough to make a good decision. Yes, I know the presidency is up for grabs and can name the major front runners of the two major parties. But in terms of local issues, *shrugs*.

So, perhaps, I should pledge to not be informed about the local issues.

My landlady wanted to put the average temperature of my apartment (that I share with three other people) to 60 degrees F. I told her that was ridiculous and was able to ensure the average temperature was a 68 degrees, which also by the way is the temperature required by city law.

When I worked at my software company over the summer, my side of the building was cool but the other side of the building was roasting. I wonder if that is the case with Tarale's office space.

Yeah, I've noticed that many of the casinos along the main strip in las vegas have their casino games very far away from things that allow you to determine the time of day. Now that I think about it, with the exception of the doors, I don't think there are any windows on any of the first floors of the casino in close proximity to the casino floor.

shouldn't it be "cFoo :: DoSomethingCool()" when you define it? clsFoo.cpp has a DoSomethingCool() function but not a cFoo :: DoSomethingCool().

In main, you are trying to call DoSomethingCool(), but it doesn't know that it exists because the header files do not have a DoSomethingCool() prototype.

I wonder if the function prototype must come before you mark it as a friend? It is what they do at this site.

Yeah, the worst series of storms of the current weather year is hitting San Francisco area right now. Projected gust are expected to reach hurricane strength; and this is a storm that is coming from the gulf of alaska.

I think the weather gods are getting bored.

I think I know why it didn't work in the first place. The resulting main.cpp was looking for a "int DoSomethingCool()" function because that is what it assumes for functions it doesn't see definitions for. So, "void DoSomethingCool()" and "int DoSomethingCool()" don't seem to be the same thing?

Oh, by the way, do you clean before you do a recompile? Because if you compile before, then change one of the .h files, that doesn't cause recompilation of all the .cpp files that uses the .h file.

As an addenum, the computer with the printer must ALWAYS be on when you want to print from another computer.

why?

Because I have extremely bad sunburn and it puts it all to sleep.

Where are you getting that stuff? I thought you can only find lidocaine in dental offices...

And blah, now I'm getting GOOD speeds on the internet! But drop outs. This is most frustrating.

Are you sure it isn't your modem? I had something similar to you that plagued the place i moved in. I swapped the modem/router and I haven't had a problem since.
