I know how you feel. My car's transmission (1990 Toyoto Corolla) failed the day after hauling my family (my parents, my brother, and I) and probably several hundred pounds of luggage, and it was my first day of a new semester of school and I lived 55 miles from school. So, getting to school sucked a lot since I needed to get to my school by 8 (meaning I woke up 1 hour earlier because of this) and got home 1 hour later than usual.

But yeah, saving money for stuff you didn't anticipate for isn't very fun at all.

when computers become sluggish, I usually just reinstall the operating system. If a fresh OS doesn't fix the problem, then your computer is a paperweight.

I only used babelfish to get through my language courses in high school. Once I took Japanese classes in college, I switched to Amikai, since I think they translate Chinese, Japanese better than Babelfish.

Using CPU-Z might shed some light on what kind of RAM your system supports if you do not have a manual that tells you.

Posted on 05-29-08 02:33:57 AM, in Dental woes Link
Unless the surface cavities have made it into dentin (the layer below enamel), you shouldn't need full blown drilling and what not. Or well, that is what dental school has taught me thus far.

Anyways, I'd get a second opinion to see if you really need that much work. $2000 is quite a bit to shell out, especially for 11 surface cavities. You might need a few crowns to replace some of your molars, but that depends on how badly decayed they are.

As for the pain, it is worth it on the long run. One of my dental faculty members said he was going to do implants on about the same number of teeth for $40,000.

I have a savings and checking. But I run my checking account to the bone, leaving all my money in savings to earn whatever pathetic interest I can get. Half of my money is also in a savings certificate which is still getting a very paltry amount But hey, 1.something is better than 0.25%

If only there was a screen reader or something, then I could just play this in the background while I study.

Anyways, what does TAS mean?

So, if it my own bottle, of course I'd drink it straight out of a bottle. But if it is being shared by other people, then well, drinking it straight would be nasty.

I've never had problems hosting off of port 80, so I've never run into the problem. And I have PacBell, SBC, AT&T as my internet provider.

i guess if the story lines are independent of one another, then I could conceivably play the 2nd before the 1st. There is something inside me that wants to play things in chronological order. This is why many games don't seem to ever finish or have yet to be played even though I bought it (like Xenosaga 3)
