FWIW, here's what I got, and I think it'd beat the socks off of any AMD system (sadly, I love AMD but right now they aren't the way to go)

SATA burner
RAM (2 of these kits)
I already had a 500GB SATA HD (WD, of course) I recycled. Total was shy of $1300, and it is amazingly fast and rock stable. And cooler than my Socket A Athlon was, too. |

I remember that! Oh man, that is so epic Nguyen!
So yeah I forgot I had this name here. I still go by Tomguy on messageboards otherplaces like LX Forums, Charger Forums (and Forumz), etc; but since everyone remembers me by Tomguy I registered that way.
Plus I didnt know I had this until I looked @ the memberlist and saw it. |
