I was never a fan, my introduction to B&G was all the knock-off comics that were terrible, so by the time I saw it, I just had a bad taste in my mouth for that type of thing.

So my state recently hit number 1 in cases per capita in the US. So that's really great. But wait, there's more! The head of my department has decided that we should all come back into the office because he thinks it's harder to share knowledge when you can't just pop into someones cubicle.

This is despite someone else in my department currently being out on bereavement after his wife died in a hospital with COVID.

So I may be losing my job soon. I simply will not come in under these circumstances. Not when my job can be done just as well from home.

So apparently there are something like five eink smartphones on the market right now, though only one of them has actually been released. Some of those look like vaporware that will never see the light of day. The ones that look closest to real seem to have the opinion that a person who wants an eink display doesn't want a web browser. They want to disconnect.

No bitch, I want more internet! I want my battery to last longer while I look at forums!

I've been using Winamp as my main media player for almost two decades now, mostly because it is the only media player I've found that has even a remotely usable library.

I was talking to someone on Mastodon recently who was investigating ID3 tags and here's what I learned: The Genre tag in ID3v1 is an an 8 bit value with some predefined labels. I've noticed this phenomenon as well and the only answer I can think of is that Psychobilly just happens to be 0x00.

Actually, this got me curious so I looked it up and that's not the case. I guess someone is really just running around tagging a bunch of music as psychobilly. 🤷‍♀️

Did you know there's a Beetlejuice play that was (or is?) on Broadway? Listened to it for a bit today. It was...okay. Kind of funny, kind of trying really hard though.
