Scooped up one of these workstations at a thrift store for $40. Had other intentions for it (namely, the most overpowered MythTV box in recorded history) but now that I've looked up some information on it... that's unpossible. I don't know if it works or not, as it doesn't do anything when I try to turn it on, but I only have a power cord plugged in. Any suggestions? Both to make it work and what to do when it does.

Since I'm sure there's a couple US-Americans here on these boards... Simple question, really, because the primaries, at least as far as I can recall, have usually hashed themselves out by this point. Well, except for the Democratic race this year, which is still pretty polarized at this late stage. So it's probably fair to ask what you'd do, at this point, if your chosen candidate doesn't make it through.

Anyone have any idea how to do this? Microsoft apparently makes a text-to-speech control of some sort available on their website, but I need to write the output to an MP3. I'd just be feeding it plain-text. Also, if at all possible, I wouldn't mind whipping up the text-to-speech thing using my own voice. Alas, I can't find any good resources about this. Everything I've found points me to a control that'll do it... for $130. HEEEEEELLS NO.

	Got one in my pocket right now. 16MB (bought it years ago), to transfer files from one of the work comps to home. Hey, they paid for it and set it up so the drive would be recognized properly (otherwise, it'd try to show up as the E drive, and E's already mapped to a network drive).
