I got curious (since I don't know Snowdeath really) and checked out her website. This is how I found out that she is deaf. This website also tells us that she never did learn to read lips or learn how to speak. Now I am more concerned for her on her bike ride than I was previously. I have no intention of doubting her capability, but this is still concerning information to me.

Yeah, Windows 8 sucks. Especially at my job where some wacky customers decided to upgrade their Win7 machines that were running production servers... (Not that they should have been running those on Win7 to begin with...)

Getting rid of the start menu and replacing the organized programs list with a clustered group of applications you can choose from is really asinine.

Nicole makes a good point, however - with key bindings you can probably fix many things. I still don't like the approach to launching a program. Especially as someone who is constantly launching many applications simultaneously.

Windows 8... Not my idea.

I think I finally figured out the deal with the horrible hideous start menu that covers the entire screen... Now you can hide your videogames at work just by pressing start.
