Keitaro beat me to it! Oh well, here goes nothing anyway:

One time I had no idea what I was doing and I coated the crap out of some chicken with frank's red hot wing sauce and rolled it in flour with more sauce on top. Then I baked it and it turned out awesome. Usually though, I just end up royally messing up. For instance, I've had really good peanut butter noodles before, but had no idea how to make the sauce so I just tried adding melted peanut butter... Only I didn't have any noodles, so I used rice... Don't try that at home. It's terrible.

It had been awesome and warm in Connecticut for the past week. Yesterday it rained and got a little cold. Now I have no idea what will happen, as I rarely look at weather forecasts.

You know what's been bothering me lately?

I know all you kids love mixing your fluids, and sometimes that makes offspring happen. Some of you don't believe in birth control; others just think you're ready. It doesn't matter to me one bit either way: I don't want to see pictures of your baby.

It seems everyday that I log into Facebook there is yet another 20-something-year-old child that went to my high school posting picture proof of their gravely irresponsible decision to raise a child of their own with their unfaithful boyfriend who works at McDonald's. (Or sometimes they work behind McDonald's selling weed.)

It's not that I don't like you, or that I don't like kids. It's that I don't think you are responsible enough to have them. However, what's done is done, and now that you have it, unless you're going to put it up for adoption, you may as well accept it and love it. But I don't have to accept or love it; it wasn't my idea. So please: Stop posting pictures of your wrinkly little freaks. I know that you love them just as much as that puppy that you killed last year because it pooped everywhere so you stopped feeding it as punishment.

I have a good friend who has two kids. She's a young mom, too. Somehow she got pregnant while on birth control, and by the time she realized what was happening it was too late. Afterwards, she went on a much stronger form of birth control (monthly or semi-monthly shots - I'm not sure which), but due to a hormonal imbalance that would later be acknowledged by her doctors, that did not work either, and she had another child. She didn't intend to have kids as young as she did, but she's a great mom. So I know that it can be done... I would be a little less concerned if everyone I see that's just having kids now wasn't a complete screw up or that drunk girl at the party that we had to pull away from the fire as she was trying to dance her way into it while simultaneously undressing.

P.S. Please use a different approach for potty training this time or I will have to alert the authorities. The puppy was cruel enough.

Edit: I'm definitely being an asshole here; there is no need to tell me such things. I also acknowledge that a picture of your baby on Facebook is a relatively normal and expected thing. Just try to keep it sane, please. No one needs to see you dress up a 3-day-old infant in the same kind of garbage you subjected your dog to every Halloween.

You've definitely got that right. Some of us young mothers/fathers actually made the choice to become parents and some of us are actually doing a good job at it.

Not sure if you read my whole post, but I definitely acknowledged that. My post was about my concern regarding the large number of people I personally know in real life who are not responsible, mature, or even necessarily caring but are still having kids like it's going out of style.

KBM: Agreed.

Zero: Agreed. The problem with blocking their posts is that I know they are still there even if I can't see them.

Krutomisi: I'm not complaining about Facebook; I'm complaining about my friends. The website is fine; the users are the problem!

Miasmar: Blood carving??? That aside, your post was funny, and I liked it. Thank you for acknowledging the use of second person, also - it was supposed to make my rant seem funnier. Looks like some other folks here might not like my sense of humor.

Amen, brother!

Dorito: First off, Facebook is not the real world. Just wanted to make that distinction real quick. Secondly, I did not jump to the conclusion that having a child is irresponsible; I jumped to the conclusion that certain people I know personally in real life should not be having children, and then I made a post about how it was bothering me in a humorous light with the hope that others would laugh at it. I even added a section where I acknowledged that it is indeed normal to post pictures of your kid(s). Elitist? I just don't really see that part. Lighten up? Bro, you're the one tearing apart a satirical post. In retrospect, maybe it would have been better to put this in Craziness Domain. If anyone wants to move it, move it.

Big difference. An eighteen year old that barely graduates high school could raise a responsible, intelligent, hard working young man, and a forty year old can raise a burden on society.

I agree completely.

AlexAR and Rena: Thank you two, also, for being sane!

Well, I'm late. But here goes anyway:

Happy Birthday, Xk! You remain a beacon of intelligence, sanity, humor, and wit on an Internet where these very traits at times seem dwindling amongst its users. And that's why I'm registered here.

Indeed, this is pretty painful. I'd much prefer to choose my own speed of word intake, and I also like having a feel for when sentences/paragraphs end... And it DOES seem like it should be flashing WAR IS PEACE.

Hahaha Vizzed! One time I fucked that place up via SQL exploit just to be a dick. Davideo7 then gave me his FTP credentials and asked me nicely to fix the security hole... And I did. Lucky for him I'm such a nice guy.

So I was mildly intruiged by this ad at the top of JUL today...

And I clicked it, which resulted in...

So now, I present to you: Turbosloth

Featuring such classic greats as:

?????????????

...

Ok, I have to admit - this one actually made me laugh out loud:

It actually still makes me laugh if I stare at the face in the second panel...

That's why I have so many vegan indie rockers camping out in my backyard...

...

This one made me laugh also:

The FUCK???

Now that you mention it, this comic does seem sort of like it was drawn by someone who hang out inside of a Tacobell...

Anyway, sorry... I just had to share that.

Hahhhahahahahahahaha.

I didn't read the article until just now for some reason, and didn't have patience to make out what the point of the blurry video was. Now that I have read said article, however, I find this to be quite hilarious.

Hahaha, yes, that hover text on the ad was pretty bad. I tried to include it in my post, but accidentally put it as "alt" instead of "title". Fixed now.
