Even looking through the layout of the site itself, it hasn't advanced in ages. The console movies pages still put up EVERY SINGLE movie on one page (hope you like loading 299 images when looking through NES games!), publications with multiple encodes STILL have no additional text to separate which is which (you have to look at the status bar to see, you can't even reliably pick out the 10bit encodes because sometimes they're bigger!)...
The only thing that really changed that I can think of is the front page, and that was made clearly WORSE; the featured publication went from just using the standard publication format to a custom one offering NO DESCRIPTION of the publication that was put up there, then finally after tons of bitching a shortened description was added that has a "Read More" link ... despite having WELL more than enough space to just fit the entire damn thing on there. Oh, and of course, Adelikat was behind that change, and was pretty bitchy about it if I recall correctly. Something like "This is how I want it and everyone else can just go away", I think. ____________________ |

Gee, and here I was giving him the benefit of the doubt.
(Side note: I'm hungry now, thanks a lot.) ____________________ |

However, does it not seem the slightest bit odd, given the timing of it, and how exceptions made to one submission have not always carried over to new submissions?] ____________________ |

To add, the one rejecting it complained about the goal choice, how it should've been "max rings".
I'm going to guess that that person has never played Sonic 2 before in their life, because anyone that played up to Casino Night knows exactly what's wrong with such a goal. The goal was to receive an extremely difficult to obtain bonus on all levels possible. This gets around that 'renewable ring source' issue entirely. Yet somehow this objective "[doesn't] really work in this game", despite resulting in an extremely entertaining movie. Part of me wonders why I'm so surprised this happened. I knew they'd nitpick the shit out of it and reject it for stupid reasons. That's why I brought it up all over the place. ____________________ |

Eighty degrees today. The high is supposed to be around eighty for the rest of the week.
Did we skip spring entirely or something? (Also, storms for the rest of the week too, it seems. Lovely.) ____________________ |

Originally posted by TamkisUgh. I have bought two of those things. Both of them have had fatal flaws. The first (DVC-170) required its own proprietary program to record things with, destroying any capability for streaming or anything else. It also doesn't work with any 64 bit system, and they refuse to provide drivers for it, it seems. So, basically, I'm stuck with a platinum useless brick that I can't do shit with. (Also, it was MORE expensive than the DVC-100 also available at the time. Lovely. Pay more, get screwed over.) I bought the other (DVC-101, I believe?) just prior to the Extra Life marathon I did last year. Video worked just fine, but it would not pick up audio at all, even through its own damn program. The only way I could get audio through the stream was to take an old, crappy converter, plug the audio cords into that, and plug THAT into the microphone jack, which murdered the audio quality. I took that one back a few days after the marathon for a refund. I'm tired of their shit. ____________________ |

It means nothing, and you should not care in the least.
Registry 'cleaners' are pure bullshit. They cause problems more often than not. ____________________ |
