It's not an easter egg. The rocket pack just misfires if you hold the charge for 30 seconds.

It wouldn't be a 3D Sonic game without randomly inexplicably falling through the floor.

The thing with good April Fools jokes is that they don't make it impossible to use the site as it was originally intended.

This game sure has a lot of boards buried in it.

Nearly 40% of the boards in the /param/ folder (30 of 78) are unused.

Notable super-fun boards:

0-03-debug
Debug testing map with most of the types of squares represented.

galaxy1/o_galaxy1
Uses a board header option to loop X and Y. No other boards use this.
It's also too large for the looping mechanism designed for it, and the squares end up layered on top of each other.
It also plays VERY badly with the free-roaming cursor. You can't move it left or right much at all.

train0/o_train0
train1/o_train1

The only unused maps to be split into multiple maps (to allow the board to move mid-game).

o_yuureisen_e3
Gee, that file name sure doesn't make me think of anything special. Nope, not at all.

2-15-alephgard/o_2-15-alephgard
An early version of Alefgard ... with an invalid square type. What the hell, square 43?

Some more miscellaneous fun things before I go:

Some of the easy rules boards (those beginning with "o_") have districts set up! This includes some easy rules boards that completely differ from their standard rules counterpart boards, e.g. Peach's Castle.

Districts M, N, O, and P all have text in the game to accommodate for them, but they don't work (setting your net worth to 999,999 if you remotely get near a shop in their district; buying one of them out gives you domination in the district; et cetera). Districts N, O, and P have glitchy messes around their borders, but M uses the Easy Rules' border color.

District L is never used by the game, but it actually works! It even has its own unique border color and everything.

You can roll a 9 on the die, but no board has a maximum die roll above eight.

When Steam starts banning people for living in Fort Gay, I'll consider this argument to have a shred of merit.

Microsoft have been trigger-happy with bans in the past. I sure as hell wouldn't want to purchase a $500 console and $60 games and lose them all because someone went on a power trip.

no.

I don't even like that kind of language personally, but calling an account ban "legit" because of that is wrong.

How would like it if you were having a bad day and snapped at someone, and suddenly found every dime you spent into your console vanish into the ether?

I haven't heard of any other kind of false banning besides this

Retailer sells game before street date, MS punishes the player who likely doesn't even know what's wrong in the first place.

Or for that matter, if your account gets compromised, you now lose everything too! You don't even get to play games offline while everything gets fixed.

Also, no, Steam does not take every single game away from you ever owned away from you if you get banned, so it's not even similar in that regard.

Saying that Steam offline is a better choice is pretty ridiculous. I'd rather wait for Steam to come back online to play a game before I play in offline mode because of how absolute shit it is (I couldn't play Unreal Tournament -- a game where an Internet connection isn't required -- on Steam when offline because of this).

If your account is compromised, you still lose access to a lot of your games unless you were connected prior to the compromise, and even then you have to wait for support to help you out in either case.

The hell is this, then?

Neither will Microsoft. Why are people complaining about this shit again?

I don't know, maybe it has something to do with that being the exact opposite of what they said before?

For the love of all that's (un)holy, cpu, use some common sense.

Fanmade hacks are one of the few times notoriety should come into play into TCRF, I think. It's a tough point that could go either way, because some might genuinely be interested in what else super-popular hack A was planning but got put on the chopping block due to trouble/time/etc.

Also no, unlicensed cart-released games do not count as hacks.

I don't like quick reply, myself. I think it clutters up the bottom of pages, and I personally never use it.
