So I'm grabbing this Technic pack I've heard so much about, and I'm going to be fiddling around with it.

Probably gonna turn off Better than Wolves though. Don't really see much use for that, especially since it doesn't mesh with the others too well, and since the creator creeps me the fuck out.

I have a profile manager, so I even have indev and the 1.9 prerelease (for creative funtimes. Fuck yeah nether brick.) on here.

No, actually, this is the guy who thinks himself a god, and creepily describes dismembering wolves to the point that he edited the title.txt to all be his own messages about how he's good, notch sucks, and wolves are better dismembered.

He's also the dude who was the first to threaten the yogscast with being banned from a mod, iirc.

Yes but, he's also got his own group of rabid fans that has done the same. Lots of minecraft modders do. At least other places can call them out on it.

That Kodaichi dude made a thread on reddit bitching about idiotic messages asking for jars, and reddit was all "Hey aren't you one of those assholes who wanted banlists in mods?"

It was pretty hilarious actually.

A lot of modders also dislike the yogscast, not because of their fans, but because the yogscast wanted them to stop using adfly due to it being a shitty service that gets them mere pennies.

That's the biggest reason why a lot of mods were pulled from the yogbox, because the modders wanted to keep adfly. :|

I know a lot of the modders are specifically negative about it for no good reason. If you just say "No, sorry. I'd like to keep it out of modpacks " instead of "No way! It's my mod i want it on its own fuck off!" I'm sure they'd react differently.
