| Something to check: Even if you never use Windows Media Player, it still needs to be turned on in Windows if you want to display FLV thumbnails. Windows 7 uses Windows Media Player 12 to generate thumbnails for non-native formats. Go to Control Panel - Programs and Features - Turn Windows features on or off - find WMP 12 and make sure it is on. If you have a 64-bit version of Windows, now go into K-lite or Shark (either one, doesn't matter which one) and set ffdshow as the preferred 64-bit decoder for H.264, because the 64-bit versions of Windows use the 64-bit decoder to display thumbnails. You may need to run K-lite or Shark as admin (Right-click + Run as Administrator). |
