Better? It's just that there is a lot of hacks out there and whenever you do yours, there should be something that separates it from the crowd. Sorry if I sounded rough.

"Wait, you were raiding the whole last night, right?"

"... *click*"

Happened a few times on my class good that I'm not that addicted.

Anyways, my excuses are often sick / oversleep or no busses going there sooner, but I'm not really keen on being late. Because it doesn't pay off.

I decided to give it a go and make a simple one. This is what turned out.

Sample text.

Layout comparison. I like this editor, good work. The only thing is that does it have some sort of preset configurations? When I forgot to put values in for example, link colors, it automatically made them match the border color? I'm gonna keep this test layout for awhile, then make a real one.

Well, a recent one was in World of Warcraft. We were raiding Serpentshrine Cavern, one of the 25-man raid instances.

Trying Lurker, this big fish boss. The fight is in the water, there is a circular piece of land where you stand and the boss swims on the middle.

Well, it's our second try on the boss. We get him really well, despite the fact that people keep on dying, still keeping it up. He has 1% of his health left. People scream, everyone does whatever they can and so he dies. Or so it seems.

He likes to submerge from times to times. He submerged, right before he died. Oh, and did I mention that he summons some mobs whenever he submerges?

Nevertheless, we got him, although everyone died in the end, zerged by the mobs. My gear was broken and the repair cost was humongous. And of course, nothing good for me dropped.

I'm constantly having these moments with Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, since I have downloaded it.

It has a tendency to show two moogles and a "Thank you for playing" text, then resetting the game when I move from a place to another place.

Maybe I should just buy the game.

FF8 felt somewhat weird, after FF7. FF9 story boring? I liked it alot, lots of things happening there.

But in the end, it's all opinions. < /derailed>

Posted on 04-01-08 06:38:48 AM, in So when did we stop calling them ROM Hacks? (last edited by Pandaren at 04-01-08 06:39 AM) Link
Isn't a mod user-made thingie which uses the game's engine/system as a base, whereas hack tampers with the whole engine, altering it to it's own uses? I mean, mods do have custom stuff, but they still use the base engine to work. Hacks make SMW into an RPG etc?

Anyways, I've been playing Motocross Maniacs. It's an old GB game, you race with an motorcycle, doing loops etc. You can press B to initiate a nitro boost, though you have an limited amount of them. You often need nitros to finish a level (some jumps are impossible without them)

So, I'm trying to get a good time on this one level. Managing pretty well, first lap gone, got all the power ups and loads of nitros.

But then I miss one jump, crashing the biker down, losing all power ups and spending all my nitros when I try to regain the control.

A friend of mine bumped into me. That's why I missed

Haha, man. I always hated how you couldn't finish levels without boosting. I'm suprised somebody else even knows the game!

My Game Genie and "Infinite Nitros" code were heavily used ... though I still think they should've produced one nitro boost every while (after some time from the previous one) so that levels were still completable...

My cousin had a Gameboy, which we used to play when our family visitted them. It was long missing until I found it again, when we went there to celebrate a birthday.

Her mother said that it was broken and I could take it if I wanted.

After getting back home, I fiddled with it for five minutes and whoops, it works again.

And now I'm playing Motocross Maniacs
