Well, I don't have a copy of Basilisk II with me, but I do have a copy of Sheepshaver. I installed iCab 3.0.5 and Classilla 9.2.3. Both browsers were somewhat sluggish, even with 512 MB installed. But that was expected. I was able to set it up and get it working through a guide on eMaculation. Thanks for your suggestion, but Mac OS 9 wanted me to type in the subnet mask and router address too.
From a five minute test:
Jul looks nice in both browsers. TCRF wasn't that bad either. Google was also usable, but iCab was definitely less nice looking. The irony is that Microsoft's website displays way better than Apple's website (although it is usable in Classilla). iCab displaying Apple's website looks horrific, since the images don't display correctly even with millions of colors.
ADDENDUM:I tried running iCab in Basilisk II a few years ago, before I was even aware of eMaculation or any other site focused on Mac Emulation.
