You got banned for posting a comic from a competitor or something?

...Facebook is better anyway.

You can unstick stuck pixels.

You need a program that will flash red, green, blue, white, black (for example) on your whole screen, really really really fast, and you leave it running for a few hours. Don't forget to turn off your screen saver when you do this.

This sometimes works. My old DS had a stuck pixel (stuck to cyan), and at some point in time, it changed to green, so the blue got unstuck at some point.

So... possibly not permanently stuck.

I can't sleep in total darkness, and I can't sleep in total quiet.

I usually shake cups before I use them (even if the cup is empty, I usually shake it, as though I'm trying to shake something out)

Umm... I can't really think of anything else... I guess that means anything else I do is subconsious, or minor.

You're one lucky bastard. I want to live with BMF too.

Well anyway, it's nice to hear you're FINALLY able to go (and stay). Hopefully, you'll be able to bring your laptop this time?

It's a vicious cycle: People are purchasing some DRM-less product. Some company suddenly is scared about piracy, so they use DRM. Some people want the product, but don't like the DRM, which leads to piracy. The company updates the DRM, some cracker cracks it, and thousands of people with legit copies are screwed.

Steve Jobs is against DRM, and I think some other big-names are too. So, not everyone agrees with it.

I personally would like to see an end to all DRM, because DRM does more bad than it does good. More often than not, pirates are able to remove the DRM, so they're unaffected by it, meanwhile the people being screwed over by it are the people who legitimately own a copy of the product. DRM just leads to more piracy, which is the opposite of what DRM creaters intended, right?

OR... DRM is a huge conspiracy to cause MORE piracy, so that pirates can be found and piracy can be "shut down", in a "I just don't like them" way.

The internet here at college is faster than the internet I have back at home.
(but not by a whole lot)

Either way, Comcast was a mess this summer, I'm really hoping that by the time I go back home, that they've straightened everything out.

I used to doodle in elementary school, but I was trying to draw comic strip characters, like Garfield, and Calvin and Hobbes, and such.

With the occasional Mario or Sonic level...

Edit: Marble Madness, too! I can't forget that.

Nothing's worked so far, but by just plugging it straight into the modem it works fine (go figure)

Another computer has (supposedly) been plugged into this, so afaict the router's just throwing a fit with this computer.

...and inexplicably it starts working when I plug it back into the router.

Not malware, just crappy networking (due to crappy hardware?), unless "malware" can be in the form of hardware, not just software.

To be completely honest, and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of other computer/programmers/gamers/etc agree with me, I don't really care about religion.

Religion is mostly "you have to suffer, that's the meaning of life, and through suffering, you end up somehow winning in the end." I like how the Egyptians did it, where the point of your life was having a light heart (being happy). That's really what life should be about, in my opinion; being happy.

To be quite honest, I usually *start* a bunch of games, but I typically lose interest before I finish them. I most likely have millions of games going on right now.

Well, science can prove the here, now, tangible, etc, and religion is there for everything else, like "what happens when you die" and "what's beyond the universe" and "when did the galaxy start?" and other such stuff that science really can't prove.

But sometimes it's taken too far.

Actually, this cartoon is surprisingly well animated. The motions look actually realistic, instead of that strange garbage motions that you get with other cartoons (for example, look at old cartoons made of DC superheros)
