I'm sure that if we used enough ping-pong balls, we could raise it back to the land.

Especially websites who don't know that AJAX won't work if they don't sign their scripts?

...like [adult swim]?

Well there's a few problems.

Like I said, if the scripts aren't signed and verified, and if they try to access content on a domain other than the originating site, it doesn't work. This is the same problem [adult swim] has, and as such, I can't really access anything on their site, because every page is just a blank shell.

In addition, AJAX requires javascript, so if it's disabled, nothing works. (Though, I'm not sure who globally disables Javascript these days)

I really can't live without it. I mean, I can go for a few days, but I would never be able to last an entire month.

The first S is just some racing game type thing I made up. It could be anything, but I think the closest game(s) to it are R.C. Pro AM, or Super Sprint.

I use Firefox because it works and I like it. I haven't had any problems with it, ever, unlike Opera, which has all of these stupid convenient features all over the place. I mean, come on, why would you want built-in ad blocking when Firefox has extentions for it? Mouse gestures? Oh please, give me buttons or shift+scrollwheel up/down or backspace any day. And it's fast? Oh brother, it probably is really efficient and doesn't use CPU at all. Who needs conservation like THAT? I bet it doesn't even waste memory either!

...well, a lot of Opera users kept bashing Firefox (not in this thread, though), so I decided it was time for the opposite.

And yeah, I don't care if everyone thinks Firefox is clunky and wasteful, it *WORKS* and it conforms to *STANDARDS*, and with extentions, you can add a lot of functionality to it. So I use it, because I like it.

The Acid2 test called.

Ah, can you take a message for me then? I'm too busy browsing the internet to bother with one test it doesn't pass correctly.

Yeah, good call there. I know it doesn't adhere 100% to standards, but it's enough to not butcher 99% of the sites online. And that's enough for me.

Those really high pitched notes really crack me up.

So that's interesting, you made an acapella of a song years ago, and you see it on youtube, without you putting it there?

I hate that it had to come to that, but it's really for the best. I'd rather see the board close, instead of degrading to the craphole it was going to degrade to.

"gone to", whatever.

Anyway, the community is still alive, the board's just dead. To be honest, the majority of the community that I want to be with has moved here anyway.
