| Drag's Post #31 | Comcast is in the process of doing some kind of work or something. The side effect of this is that my internet connection gets extremely laggy and eventually just goes completely out at night, starting anywhere from 8 pm to 11 pm, and lasting until I wake up the next day. >:
Before this all started, they sent us a brochure saying that they're going to be adding a TON of new digital channels to our line up (I'm most excited about G4! I get that at college, but not here at home), so I think whatever they're doing at night is related to that.
It's not just the internet going out either, I get glitches in the digital channel signal too, leading to sound cut-outs, the picture freezing, and FunkysquaresTM.

| Drag's Post #32 | I dunno why it was 11x11. I mean, yeah, a lot of people were using 800x600 around the time it was introduced (Some daring individuals on 1024x768), but with today's 6418x4986x128, I don't think 11x11 is all that necessary anymore.

| Drag's Post #33 | The biggest problem is, not only is America WAY behind on speed (Japan enjoys 60 megabit download speeds, where our top speed is 6 megabits.), but there's no competition.
For example, in my area, Comcast is the *only* cable internet provider, and Verizon is the *only* DSL provider.
A lot of people say "oh Comcast sucks go with Verizon", but I don't like that, because not only is DSL slower than cable, but, again, they're the only provider in our area of DSL, so who's to say they won't be screwing with us like Comcast does?

They're right, actually... if there's no competition (which there isn't, in my area), then there's no reason for any work to be done speedily or any price cuts or anything. Comcast knows there's no alternatives, so they can actually afford to have numerous service outages and they can take their sweet time with it, because there's nothing we can do. There's nothing to switch to, except Verizon DSL, which is slower, and there's no competition of that either here, so they can do the same thing.
High-speed internet as a whole is in somewhat of a poor state in America.

| Drag's Post #36 | I've had nosebleeds before. They're weird, I feel the blood just falling out of my nose. It scared me sometimes. I only RARELY ever got them. Whenever I had them, they were during seasons where my sinuses act up. However, there were times where I just woke up with a random nosebleed.
Again, these were and still are extremely rare for me.
