So I switched to math, which doesn't change much (unless you get into really high-level math). It's not like they'll invent a new whole number between 3 and 4 next week and you have to learn math all over again.
I went one step further and don't have an interest in anything really technical, like hard science, programming, math and the like.
these days that's more like a step back. it is very easy to fall far behind.
What's weird is that I like doing certain technical things like dissecting a prototype for the The Cutting Room Floor wiki, but give me something like a math, hard science or programming book and I'll say "fuck this" after like five minutes of reading and trying to understand it.
