Sure, you have a ship that shoots bullets, and things are flying by you really fast. The big asteroids are fairly easy to dodge, but the random particles they split into are going much faster and in unpredictable directions. I've been hit more by random flying pieces than the big asteroids themselves. I'm more better off not shooting the asteroids and just focusing on steering. On a related note, I didn't figure out that "Boulder Powder" was supposed to be my score until late in the game. Big rocks in space are called asteroids, while boulders are big rocks on the ground. I like the idea of trying to give score a different name to change things up a bit, but it doesn't make sense when enemies and bosses give you way more "boulder powder" than the asteroids themselves. So, for my recommendations, I suggest making it so that shooting the asteroids actually helps the player somehow instead of making things more dangerous. I also suggest having some way to let the player know enemies are taking damage. Sure, the space invader turns dark after a few hits and then flashes red, but until that happens, you can't tell if your bullets are doing damage. This is especially true on the boss, which gives no signals at all until it dies. Something like flashing for a moment or even a short sound effect would help. Similarly, I'd make it easier to figure out what the bullet powerup does. The shield has a nice big SHIELD text appear, but for the bullet powerup, you get a big red flash. I first thought it was some kind of bomb to clear the screen. I'd put some kind of indicator to let the player know it is a bullet powerup, as well as have some kind of meter to let the player know how much time with the powerup the player has left. Or is it the number of shots? I really can't tell, and that's a problem for players. Finally, as a bit of bug reporting, the Repair sound kills the music. Also, you can move your ship completely out of the window, which is probably not a good thing. I look forward to seeing the next version of the game! I am quite surprised there is not a thread on the subject yet. In my opinion this game will revolutionize the way we play mmorpg's. URIs must be properly escaped, they must not contain unescaped
