Patches are downstream in many distributions. If you don't run a server using CGI or php5-fpm, you're probably in the clear, but update anyways.

Haha oh man someone left a comment a week and a half ago on a buried-ass page on Cordilon Gaming asking for us to spread word about their indie game kickstarter and it got caught in the spam filter so I didn't notice it until now and even though I emailed the dudes back I feel like a diiiiick...
Someone pour me a rum and coke. I'm out of rum.

I don't think this is the board for you.

I think I've figured out why I'm a tad overweight.

Gimmick! used the Sunsoft 5B (a Sunsoft FME-7, effectively) audio chip, and actually not a whole lot of its features. Most NES/Famicom emulators only emulate the Sunsoft 5B to the extent which Gimmick! used, according to nesdev.

I've been to the US. I've been to some parts of Canada that are far enough from civilization (or a Tim Horton's) that there are signs for diners in Ukrainian (no really, wish I had gotten a picture of that when I passed by it on a road trip).
Most exciting was Maui, second most was Las Vegas (couldn't drink or gamble, but damn there are some amazing things to see there regardless).

Ugh. DreamSpark keys expire? Bleh. Good to know.

This would have been the shit back when I was on a dev team for a space game that sadly never panned out. Great for playing around with though. Layering the colours in different strengths gives some really neat effects.

Saying "eat shit" to SafeDisc is arguably a good thing. Old, buggy DRM that can intercepts ATAPI calls and has proven to be able to be emulated and hooked? Sounds like a hell of an attack vector. Microsoft knows their products have a reputation for historically being easy to infiltrate crap, and they're looking to minimize bad third-party junk from contributing to the assholes going "durr micro$haft is the real virus hurrrrr" all day long.
I've enjoyed Windows 10 so far. Everything I need works fine on it and quite frankly I like the new Start Menu. That being said I also had good experiences with Windows 8.1.

It's gotten hotter here over the past couple days, and apparently is going to stay that way right up until the weekend, at which point it will be raining.
Considering I move this weekend (to another city, so everything is being packed up and is going in trucks and such), I am really not looking forward to this abrupt weather change. The timing is just awful.
Exams are done and I am no longer in college at least, so I have a week to pack.

I returned to this wonderful addiction along with Stigandr and a few others. I've made it a few levels through Legion and so far I like it, but I can't help but feel that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn did the whole "you are the warrior of light Highlord of the Silver Hand" thing a bit better. WoW is a much superior game for actually playing with friends, though, IMO, what with not requiring you to progress through a greatly single-player storyline in order to get anywhere.
FFXIV would be a perfectly serviceable single-player game if it didn't have annoying "oh by the way you need to do this trial/dungeon go find 3/7/11 other people to continue your single-player quest" crap every six to ten levels. But this is the WoW thread and I think I've ranted about that before.
Man am I ever looking forward to the Karazhan revamp. I hope they don't remove the original Karazhan like they did with most of the other dungeons they revamped as endgame re-releases... |

Really neat. Fiddling around with a quick 1.0 install. Found a bug though. The regex on line 130 of register.php has an unescaped forward slash, causing registrations to fail with "Your username contains invalid characters." even on valid usernames.

If I had any motivation to try to run a community again I'd consider using BoardC. Modern board software really isn't my thing. |

Thex and I have recently found the joys of streaming, so this comes at the perfect time.
I'm honestly surprised the communities thing is a recent addition. It seems like the kind of obvious social media aspect to Twitch that they would have wanted to jump all over five years ago when streaming was starting to ramp up. |
