I haven't seen a computer that didn't at least have the .NET 3.5 runtime on it in a long time. Like Foxhack said, they come down the pipe, and a lot of indie games on Steam and such install them automatically. Most systems I'd wager have .NET 4.0 as well.
Just port it to VS2010. If all else fails, target the .NET 4.0 Client Profile and include that with your application.

Mono's pretty far along these days. I know it doesn't implement a few long-deprecated .NET 1.1 things -- which by all means it really shouldn't, seeing as they've been deprecated for literally years -- and System.Management simply cannot be implemented since that's a .NET mapping of WMI.
As far as I'm aware almost everything in .NET 4.0 is supported under Linux via Mono, and roughly half of .NET 4.5 is implemented.

TL;DR - Parker Brothers started working on a McDonalds 2600 game, but only 8-9 year olds had any interest in it, so it was scrapped. You have witnessed the prototype which consists solely of the title screen.

Some of you may know I'm a hook programmer/modder for the Freelancer engine (a Chris Roberts-envisioned space sim from 2003). For those who didn't, you now do.
While digging around trying to trace a couple routines in Freelancer.exe, I found... bible references?
That string is referenced several times throughout the code but I can't seem to figure out *why*. It looks like it's used to initialize a couple strings, and most often after routines that do floating point math.
...Your guesses are as good as mine.
And what do we call it when something goes mildly horribly wrong?
(found as some kind of error handler in the trade lane physics bit)

Not quite, but since you seem like a fan of mini-tirades about irrelevant things that could be summed up in a single, succinct sentence, I think we could pull some old fart (jokes) out of the topsoil to talk about the dramatic history of Ye Olde Mighty Acmlmboard Software.
That or you could lurk for a bit and learn the feel of Jul so you don't keep getting threads booted to other forums/the trash.

Bunch of Toto. In an 80s mood tonight.
Also been compiling the soundtrack for Broken Bonds lately. Kevin MacLeod is a wonderful composer.

Often it's FLAC (preferable) or MP3s (VBR 0 or better) through Winamp, listened through a 7.1 surround headset.
I need desperately to get a turntable. If I can find a decent USB one for not too much money I might attempt to wander into a casino and wander out with more than I wandered in holding, with the goal of purchasing said turntable.

That might be the first time I've actually laughed at something on the internet in weeks. That's amazing.

Nintendo's E3 performance this year makes me want to buy a Wii U. The last console I bought was a 3DS in 2011. The last console I bought before that was in 2006 (an Xbox 360).
I can't pick out any one thing Nintendo did particularly well that impressed me, but it was far beyond my expectation of "Nintendo wins solely because everyone else cocked it up royally."

I will never stop loving Winamp 5.
It is by far the pinnacle of audio playing evolution.

Payday 2, and quite a bit actually. That and I started playing Twilight Princess (GCN) again, having never actually finished it the first time through. This time however, it's through the magic of modern emulation.

On the complete other end of the scale, Payday 2 has recently reduced its install size from 34 GB to 13 GB by cleverly re-arranging asset packages and restructuring the loading process. Load times have decreased sharply as well.
Looks like EA's gargantuan studios could learn from the small but apparently really intelligent Overkill Software.
