Winehouse’s reported death comes a month after she canceled a series of gigs following an incoherent performance in Belgrade. The pop star publicly struggled with alcohol and drug problems throughout her brief career; ironically, her biggest hit was the song “Rehab.”
Junkie in her hotel room dead. Police are saying "unexplained causes". I think I could probably explain them for the police.
Sad. At least she's not suffering anymore.

I think the parents will be more traumatized than the kids. The wee ones (hopefully) won't understand what it's all about. The parents will spontaneously combust with the anxiety thinking that their kids are scarred horribly. But in actuality, I don't think any small children will be harmed by this if they even saw it.

I have a bit of a problem. I bought some vinyl a couple days ago, and -- to my horror -- side 2 of Operation Mindcrime has apparently had some drink (probably beer) spilled on it.
Needless to say, this causes a fair bit of skipping.
So I was wondering how one would go about cleaning this poor ol' record up. Obviously I'm screwed if there are any scratches, but a quick inspection seems to say that it's only dirt and crap in the grooves.
