Source Filmmaker uses it's own, older build of TF2. But that's not important. What is important is that this version has a bunch of unused content (debug maps, unused Meet the Team stuff) that's not in the "real" version. Should this be in a subpage on the TF2 page, or on it's own Source Filmmaker page?

Cheers, I'll go with the subpage for now and we can adjust from there. Have a sneak peek while I collate things: Can YOU guess what map this is a really, really early version of?![]() Answer:

The Dota2 devs packaged up a bunch of ad-libs from the voice recording session for the character "Undying" and left them in the game files for people to find.Originally posted by Valve developer KrisK on the dev forums I need... gummy vitamins. What I like about them is they're chewy, and... they have a berry taste. Gummy vits are a lot like the gummy worms you get on Halloween; this is different though, it's healthy. I need to work out more, but... my arm keeps snapping off. ...really cool magnets! |

1.) There are Red Team skins for the robots. They're not quite finished, so we can assume they were dropped halfway through skinning. 2.) There's robot-filtered versions of taunts intended for the WAR! event. 3.) The mittens Heavy bot that shows up in some Advanced difficulty missions (and Mann Up mode) has some commented out code to make him 0.65 scale and equipped with the All-Father beard and Point and Shoot (wizard) hat to make him look like a tiny metal gnome (his definition name is even T_TFBot_Heavyweapons_Gnome) 4.) There's a commented out definition for a Sniper bot equipped with Jarate, apparently removed due to no animations. More soon????????

It just uses the same animation data since it's an edited Demobot model. You'll notice the Demobot also has the "sentrybuster spins up to explode" animation as a result.

I should probably start the DOTA 2 page at some vague point. There's more unused voice actor ad-libs left for snoopers and some stuff from The Internal, Valve's internal tournament for testing the International stuff. On an off note, everybody's favorite placeholder model has become so popular that he's graduated into a proper in-game courier with lore attached and is getting his own t-shirt! Such bold steps for such a shitty wizard.

One of the designers on Destroy All Humans mentioned on a livestream that in the final game if you stay still and do nothing for five minutes, the screen goes black and white and all nearby characters start dancing to "Summer Samba" by Walter Wanderley. Anyone still got the game and willing to check this?

Here Some guys got their hands on a build of RE 1.5 and, rather then release it, have been trying to polish it up and fix the bugs etc. because why not. THAT version got into the hands of someone else who tried to sell it, and now they've released their WIP. So it's sadly not a "virgin" prototype, and as a result I'm not entirely sure it should be documented on the wiki. But that's not really my decision to make.

NintendoPlayer found and finally released a prototype! They also dug up the fascinating story being the game's development and lack of release. Definitely worth a look.

This isn't anything major, but I thought it was worth sharing. On Giant Bomb's weekly Thursday Night Throwdown live show, they went through the library of the CEO of Iron Galaxy Studios from when he was a lowly N64 game programmer. There were a bunch of tall debug cartridges there (don't get excited, most of them were just close-to-retail from repeated TCR failures) and this was on one labelled with something to the effect of "DO NOT REMOVE FROM TESTING EVER"![]() The host of the show half-jokingly (he has the equipment) offered to dump a ROM on the spot, but he knew better than to answer in front of a camera. So, uh, yeah. Maybe it'll float onto the internet one day? Don't hold your breath. But its nice to have a peek at, no? He did mention that he hid easter eggs in NHL Breakaway '98 on the N64 - apparently a bunch of slideshows of the programmers to fill leftover ROM space - but he can't remember how to find it. The string "DAVES CHEATS" can be found at 00BA3B80, but beyond that folks are still trying to disassemble it enough to find it. They actively called for us to find it! So, uh, if you feel like trying to find slideshows of Dave Lang chugging beers in college or Tom Carbone doing something vaguely more reputable... |

The NHL Breakaway '98 easter egg has been found! Sort of. Use the cheat code 8013CEBF 0038 and select any menu option.
