This update adds to Firefox one of the most dangerous vulnerabilities present in all versions of Internet Explorer: the ability for websites to easily and quietly install software on your PC. This is an exaggeration. It implies that, with this extension installed, you can just visit a site, or click a link, and have all kinds of malicious software (i.e. spyware and virus) installed on their computer without your consent. If this extension did that it would be through a security hole, not by design. Where people run into trouble is when they just click "OK" or "I Agree", without understand, or in most cases, even reading what they're agreeing to. All those security bulletins about possible exploits in IE (through a specially crafted jpeg, or iframe or whatever) that come out every so often would be a moot point if a web page could just install a virus through a "feature" built into the software. The irony here, is that a lot people reading about this will stop using Window Update, leaving actual security holes unpatched, and their system will be end up being more vulnerable. -------------------- Centipede

The table summary attribute should be used to describe
the table structure. It is very helpful for people using
non-visual browsers. The scope and headers attributes for
table cells are useful for specifying which headers apply
to each table cell, enabling non-visual browsers to provide
a meaningful context for each cell.
