I don't recall ever seeing this. If you reset the game during the intro level, it'll still use "NEW". If you reset it right after beating the intro level, it'll use "World 1". As such, I have no idea where this would fit. It doesn't seem to be present in the SNES version. A 100% save file I found online shows the "Clear" icon, so it's apparently not used for game completion either.

Does anyone recognize it?

Edit: Used if one gets a Game Over on the intro level and then chooses No or resets. Kind of pointless. :/

This still fits on the wiki as being excessively stupid and obscure trivia, like the Top-Secret Codes category of the old HTML pages.

I, for one, think it's actually pretty neat.

Damn. Good job keeping your eyes open and catching that.

Kind of funny, though, you'd think when a brick like that bouncer tells you to get out, you should probably leave. Oh well. Maybe he'll learn, probably not.

Mario Adventure has some timing issues that break it on the real hardware, yes.

What a dirtbag. It's kind of surprising that we found someone worse than bunnyboy.

Might sound silly, but this is just more of the war from the 0.1% on the rest of the country.

My favorite is how they suggest college students take up multiple (assumedly full time, since college tuitions are skyrocketing) jobs while being a part-time student, because clearly that won't make it nigh-impossible to graduate.

A depressing situation. Don't wait for this to pass to get a reason to vote out the other team, tell your friends and spread the word.

7 months or so until elections!

This sounds vaguely like games that require Steam except Steam isn't Origin and isn't nearly as awful.

And I'm guessing that Origin doesn't have any sort of offline mode or anything either.

Even with Origin they require you to be always-on? Good grief.

I'll just stick to 2000.

It was, however, real. The guy came onto Lost Levels and kind of spoiled it, but the point was that he was the fool this year (for spending so much money on it).

(And also the fact that Mario is Missing is "unplayable" normally)

So apparently I got banned and deleted again (or something, who knows) today?

Preetty impressive, considering I've been asleep all day. :specialed: Tasvideos admins are the best.

This is one of the more well-known ones (in this case, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time), so it's not quite as big of a deal here...

Considered switching out the modem, yet?...

It might also be throttling or something else stupid going on, like "ppowerboost" or whatever where they give you your actual connection speed for a few secondS (to mostly trick speedtests, ofc) and then limit it a lot lower afterwards.
