| This is maybe the noobiest question ever, but I want NSMB3 and haven't ever used a R4 or anything.
So, assuming I buy NSMB DS and a R4, can I apply the patch without having to download a ROM of the game? I have a DS Lite, so I know it's possible to have a R4 or similar device plugged into the GBA slot so that I can have the actual game in the main slot. I assume the notion I could simply put a patch on the device and boot up the game itself is fairly naive though? It'd be awesome if I could hack it without any pseudo-illegal activity... (Also, if I'm completely wrong in my rudimentary notions of how to get NSMB3 to work, telling me now would be awesome) |
