Eh, same here. I avoid smokers altogether. I loathe the smell and I can't stand being around someone smoking.

Same here. If I have to go through someone that's smoking, I put my shirt up to my nose in a half-assed attempt at blocking the smoke.

Mine is proudly on my Solider.

I just wanna know how they're finding who owns medals in the first place. Is there some item search or something because it's creeping me out having random strangers try to trade for a medal I never told anyone I have.

Holy shit that's a lot of versions in 2009. No wonder people got sick of it.

Wow, this place blew up since I was here last. In a good way. I thought there was no chance of the boards being able to reconstruct after the scattering, but hey, this is fairly close.

I remember that I actually joined one of the versions of Acmlm's Board for the RPG stuff, but I didn't have a lot to contribute because I didn't know a lot about rom hacking and the like, and I lost interest quickly.

When I first found this place via the TCRF Wiki I thought it was Acmlm's board and tried to look for my old account.

There's an item site (I think tf2items.com ?) that had a listing of every single person that has/had the medal. I've also had friend requests for people to try and get my medal, too.

Oh okay, I figured it had something to do with that website. I just found it weird that all of the sudden people I've never met were begging me for that damn medal.

Well that blows. Guitar Hero games were fun. True they bit off more than they could chew with the sequels, it should have stopped after GH:III was released and Rock Band began to become more prominent. But I still break out GHII when I have people over, it's such a fun game.

Secondly, Call of Duty can blow me. It never should've gotten the recognition it gains now. As far as I'm concerned, it was the same game over and over until they employed zombies in it. Otherwise it's just another FPS. I'm completely uninterested in the franchise and can't really grasp why everybody loves it so much. But video games are a business and money talks, so it's not to say we shouldn't have seen this coming. It's the same reason why Shenmue III will never see the light of day. CoD's sales are outrageous and Activision will continue to rape it until about 4-5 games from now when it just becomes straight up DLC.

Such a waste, and colossal lost.

I think CoD is popular because it's nice mix of realism (iron sights, character can die quickly) and Quake (somewhat similar pace, arcade-like gameplay). But that's another topic.

So I was looking through the Daikatana Pre-Alpha's model files, and I found this:

Photobucket

I've looked though as much pre-release Daikatana info as possible, but there's nothing about this guy. I managed to load his animations, and it seems he would be able to shoot a revolver. Something tells me I'm the first person to ever have found this character, which is pretty neat.

I managed to get a cheap $20 wireless mouse at Best Buy after my last one died, so it shouldn't cost that much if you know where to look.

Dude, you aren't hurting anybody's feelings. We all have different ways of expressing our sexual frustration. Besides, I've gotten through the "guilt" of dry-humping long ago.

Price is not necessarily my concern- all I need is a cheap wired mouse (since it sits on my desk all the time it seems unnecessary to get something that needs batteries), those should be easy enough to find. It's more just that since I don't have a car and my bicycle is kind of not usable, getting to the store is kind of a long walk- among the most petty of complaints, I admit.

No no no, it's understandable. Unless it's close, walking to a store to get a new mouse seems like too much effort. Just do a quick cleaning job on it and it should last a bit longer.

Same here. Generic porn with a sleazy dude half-assingly nailing a girl isn't that interesting anymore. It needs something a bit special (nothing that people would consider gross tho) to be interesting.

I hate porn videos (they're ridiculously awkward), but still pictures are great, especially if they're amateur porn (cell phone pics, etc).

I'm a Quake fan, and I wouldn't consider the CoD series anywhere close to Quake's extremely fast pace. It's just that it's faster-paced that most of the FPS series out there right now (which are pretty slow imo), which could be considered "inspired" from Quake.
