hello dear community,

I'm trying to export the bob-omb battlefield course from the rom file without any success, sadly googling is not helpful at all D: Can someone give me a tip how to export this course in any readable file like dxf, obj, blender or something like that? D:

regards, testitest

thanks a lot dear vinnyboiler, it worked great! There were small problems with the LemD3D8.dll causing a wrong texture export but updating this dll was the solution!

Watching the OOPS chematic in blender by opening a vml file, it looks horryfying talking about how objects, meshes, textures are linked together.

Just because it's interesting, here the oops chematic of mario64, bob omb battlefield! This image is too big for linking into this forum btw...

And this is the result:

I'm going to try to make everything simplier in this file speaking of reducing verticies. currently it counts 7000 but for papervision applications it have to be around 200 to 500 verticies.

I will post results in the next weeks for those who are interested, and thanks again vinnyboiler!

Finally a successful working test! It took a lot time until it works without any fatalErros. May I introduce you, an exported mario map converted and imported in flash so you can see the map in 3d on a browser!

for those who wants to browse and see the current results:
