Hmm. Well there are similar-looking things outside the entrance to the park.

| From the guy that brought you the two Rockman 8 prototypes comes this rather obscure Rockman X4 demo. The disc also contains demos for Rockman 8 and Battle & Chase but apparently those don't have as many differences. More info, including download links, can be found over at Protodude's.
The finder uploaded a lengthy series of YouTube videos playing through the game and detailing some differences. part 1, part 2, part 3 There's a surprising amount of content for a demo disc. Both Rockman X4 and Rockman 8 have 5 playable stages, including the intro stages. |

| Hey, it's Skrybe. Thanks for the info! Seems bizarre they would make a graphic just for the off chance someone would do that. |

| Supposedly it's going to have a new level designed by Pixel. |

| The game was recently released digitally over Steam. If you check the Release Data section on the GameFAQs page it says the release date is 01/26/11. So yeah, the PC version is just an emulation of the Genesis version. |

Some more Game Boy Camera stuff.
Unused copyright screen graphic. The Japanese version uses the English graphic instead. I assume it says: (c) 1995 Creatures (c) 1995 GAME FREAK And these are some preloaded pictures that, of course, were completely replaced in the English version.
I don't even know what this is. Bingo? :x
This looks like it's from a manga. Any idea? |

| Huh. Well there are a bunch of stamps in the Japanese version which were removed from the English version. Mostly the characters in the bottom half. Maybe they designed them?
Thanks! edit: Though I'm not seeing them in the credits either... |

Found an interesting video here. Apparently it's a course testing mode for the game? Here's the video description from Nicovideo:
I'm not entirely sure what's going on. All of the tracks and racers are unlocked. There are a bunch of tracks named "NULL" and some tracks are titled 未定 which apparently means "undecided". The video shows three tracks, a couple of which seem unfinished. It seems... neat? The PAR code from the description probably only works with the Japanese version though. That blog has a bunch of interesting videos on it. |

| Ah, I see. I never got that far in story mode. I pretty much gave up all hope at Chapter 3 haha. |

I was checking out Amazon's preview of the Mega Man Complete Works artbook and found this:

| On the channel pages, I keep thinking the "Post a channel comment" box is the "Search Channel" box. I'm glad pressing enter doesn't post comments, otherwise I would be quite embarrassed... several times...
But overall the redesign is pretty nice yep. |

Hey it's more Game Boy Camera stuff.
The "Printing" screen. The stuff on the box was removed from the international release.
Here it is again in an unlockable picture. I'm also curious about the two stamps to the right.
Pocket Camera? |

| Thanks everyone.
The bear is actually animated on the printing screen. He has two frames of animation and the other one looks like the official art. The screen just goes by so quickly when the game is emulated, I had a hard time trying to capture it. Also, apparently, if you copy a picture from the B album to the A album, you can check the picture's comments section and see hints and tips or something. This is only in the Japanese version though. In the international version it's just blank. I dunno if they're worth translating. That's like 24 (one or two sentence) messages. I read about it on the game's official site. Also also, I think I found the connection to the seemingly unused copyright graphic for those mangaka. If I'm reading the Google translation of the game's Wikipedia page correctly, apparently there was a CoroCoro Comic tie-in version of the game? I did find 6 pictures in the Japanese version that appear to be based on a couple manga series. I can't find a dump of the game though. |

Hmm. It'd be nice to know for certain. All the online translations I tried are conflicting on whether or not it was sold (if I could even make sense of them in the first place). Here's the paragraph in question:
I also found two frames (which I think is mentioned in the paragraph) and some stamps. |

| Very neat! This is one of those games from my childhood so it's pretty cool seeing stuff like this.
Also I wanted to point out that there's a tail fin tile missing from the "wolf in a race car" rip on the site. I found it months ago but never got around to replacing it. ![]() |

A couple tiles from a debug level in Contra Hard Corps. Sorry they're so tiny. You can climb the walls on the left and right and hang from the horizontal tiles in the center. |

| Hidden Palace loads fine for me (there's a website you can check for that too) but download links for protos and torrents and such have been broken for at least a few months. Dunno what's going on there. |

| Speaking of Rockman Corner, here's something that was posted a while ago. It turns out the yet-revealed Mega Man/Rockman 25th Anniversary logos were tucked away in the iOS remake of Mega Man X. But supposedly they might have been removed in an update?

Hidden message that appears when you enter the Konami code at the title screen on the Japanese version of TMNT3.
