Honestly, it's just not worth it. I'm sure Xkeeper has done an excellent job working on the the board's source. However, everything he hasn't worked on is a mess. There is a lot of code that dates as far back as the earlier versions. These versions being about 10 years old. If you know a good bit of PHP, you can manage, obviously. Just don't expect most of the core stuff to be documented, and some things just don't make any sense.
