| Ok, i've started this because i've seen a few people ask questions about making/applying .PPF Patches, and people might not want to answer the same questions over and over again. If you wish to make a ppf patch download PPF Studio HERE. (ignore that it says halo 2) Open an EXTENDED but UNEDITED rom in the "original file" and your extended MODIFIED rom in the "patched file" and click create. Make sure you have browsed for the destination folder and type your file name for it in the box near the bottom. (add ".ppf" at the end of the file name) (The progress bar at the bottom wont disappear when its finished, it will just stay full) If you want to apply a PPF you'll need to download PPF-o-Matic HERE (again ignore "halo 2") Open an UNEDITED but EXTENDED rom in "ISO File" and the downloaded hack patch in "patch". Click apply and you're done! Any other questions, just ask. ![]() -------------------- Click to see my site. And Here for my mini forum. |

| When i created this thread it was for PPF help not mods, lol. I should of thought of that when i typed the subject. (If this could be renamed slightly by a mod that would help against any confusion, thanks) But still, nice looking hack. -------------------- Click to see my site. And Here for my mini forum. |

Originally posted by +c0 I'll try that out soon (probably after this post). On the side of ppf's get PPF Studio. Its really simple to use. Im wondering about the levels with no water...if somehow the game "creates" water then that would be amazing but i cant see that happening, ill try it out though on a clean rom. Thanks for the info! EDIT: I checked in a level with no water (in my case Bob-omb Battlefield). To my surprise the level didnt freeze at all...all that happened was that the trigger was COMPLETELY unresponsive to any of mario's movements. -------------------- Click to see my site. When the browse menu appears after clicking the little save/floppy disk you'll need to click the drop open box near the bottom of the window and select "All Files" rather than "CD Images". Locate the rom file and open it. Same with the PPF Patch bit but you only need to find it (no need to change the drop open box). -------------------- Click to see my site. And Here for my forum.

Nice work on this VL-Tone! Im gonna start seeing what i can come with for this right now!EDIT: Ok, i may be wrong but i think ive found a bug. When you select the "acts" for an object to appear in, all the other objects you've added become invisible again (except the warp one's already in the level) and you have to select them and click their object combo to bring them back. This even affects stacking things (like pushable metal boxes). If a lower box is invisible and you want to place one on top of it the drop to ground button will position it as if the lower box wasnt even there until you make it appear again. (If that description confuses you tell me, and ill try to re-phrase it) -------------------- Click to see my site. And Here for my forum. |
