New wireframes means new polygons. polygon editor needed for that sorry.
However on the side of resizing...VL-Tone would need to answer if that was possible. (Post resizing suggestion in the suggestions thread)

In the TT64 Read Me, It said that the bug would be fixed when Adobe releases a vista/intel mac version of Director MX. I'm just wondering when that will be...

I have that problem on another computer i use, but it runs Windows XP AND uses the DX 7 renderer...
Must be something to do with the graphics card on it, because the one i use most of the time (more recent computer model) doesn't do that.

If not then can you provide a bit more detail please.

And second, to switch Mario to Peach, go to 0x22, find Mario, and set his combo to Peach.
His animation will be glitchy, so you may want to try this procedure on him.
However, this will only work on castle grounds.

Peach isnt in the combo list.
You can change peachs model ID to something else but you cant change Mario to Peaches ID

Thats a good idea/point but i think it only temporarily changes values found in the game's code...(i might be wrong but im not sure). Even so a PPF patch would take ROM data and not even know that there were codes being used as it's the emulator that changes the values when a code is activated meaning nothing happens to the ROM file

Soon as you're finished with Stage 1 you should release that as the first version. (If your unsure about a file storage/download site, i'd recommend Mediafire)

any advice?

Do you mean that when you open the rom the texture hasn't changed?
If so this has happened before and someone said something about selecting the edited texture and clicking revert to rom then saving it again.

Yeah it does that. it doesn't have a colour change or anything like the normal level editing one. (Doesn't even go a colour whilst saving)
It may look like it's done nothing but thats just the way it is.

Ok, i've started this because i've seen a few people ask questions about making/applying .PPF Patches, and people might not want to answer the same questions over and over again.

If you wish to make a ppf patch download PPF Studio HERE.
(ignore that it says halo 2)

Open an EXTENDED but UNEDITED rom in the "original file" and your extended MODIFIED rom in the "patched file" and click create. Make sure you have browsed for the destination folder and type your file name for it in the box near the bottom. (add ".ppf" at the end of the file name)
(The progress bar at the bottom wont disappear when its finished, it will just stay full)

If you want to apply a PPF you'll need to download PPF-o-Matic HERE
(again ignore "halo 2")

Open an UNEDITED but EXTENDED rom in "ISO File" and the downloaded hack patch in "patch". Click apply and you're done!

Any other questions, just ask.

When i created this thread it was for PPF help not mods, lol. I should of thought of that when i typed the subject. (If this could be renamed slightly by a mod that would help against any confusion, thanks)
But still, nice looking hack.

Also not sure how this will work in a level lacking water(i.e Tick Tock Clock and Bob-omb Battlefield)

In TT64, load the level you wish to hack.
You will need to replace two objects(In secret aquarium i replaced the fishes, oddly they were still there even though i replaced them..)

Alright, I've only tried this on 3D Objects, not sure if it will work on anything else..

Set one object to the behavior 9720 (Water Level Trigger), This is the item that mario runs(or swims) into to adjust the water.
Set the other to 9760 (Unknown (WDW)), This seems to be what the Water Level Trigger talks to to adjust the water level, I'll call it the controller until i get a more official name.

Place the Water Level Trigger wherever you want, the water will raise up to the item when walked(or swam) to, height does not seem to matter.

And now, i am not sure if it matters where this is placed, In Wet Dry World it was in about the exact middle of the level and a little below the level
So i have been placing it there also, But it may not matter, I haven't tested that.. i probably should..

Alright and press save, i think this is all i did, didn't make notes.
I'll get screenshots of my testing if anyone requests them.

Hope this can introduce a whole lot of new fun into SM64 hacking.

I do hope this can be useful
And that its in the correct forum..

p.s I'd release a patch of my small work, but PPFMaster is being dumb.
p.s.s I do hope people can understand this..

I'll try that out soon (probably after this post). On the side of ppf's get PPF Studio. Its really simple to use.
If this fully works then this could make for more interesting hacks!
Im wondering about the levels with no water...if somehow the game "creates" water then that would be amazing but i cant see that happening, ill try it out though on a clean rom.
Thanks for the info!

EDIT: I checked in a level with no water (in my case Bob-omb Battlefield). To my surprise the level didnt freeze at all...all that happened was that the trigger was COMPLETELY unresponsive to any of mario's movements.

The reason the rom file isn't visible at first is because "PPF" is the Playstation Patch Format" so the file browser is looking for CD Images and not other files.
When the browse menu appears after clicking the little save/floppy disk you'll need to click the drop open box near the bottom of the window and select "All Files" rather than "CD Images". Locate the rom file and open it.
Same with the PPF Patch bit but you only need to find it (no need to change the drop open box).

Nice work on this VL-Tone! Im gonna start seeing what i can come with for this right now!
EDIT: Ok, i may be wrong but i think ive found a bug.
When you select the "acts" for an object to appear in, all the other objects you've added become invisible again (except the warp one's already in the level) and you have to select them and click their object combo to bring them back. This even affects stacking things (like pushable metal boxes). If a lower box is invisible and you want to place one on top of it the drop to ground button will position it as if the lower box wasnt even there until you make it appear again.

(If that description confuses you tell me, and ill try to re-phrase it)

The table summary attribute should be used to describe
the table structure. It is very helpful for people using
non-visual browsers. The scope and headers attributes for
table cells are useful for specifying which headers apply
to each table cell, enabling non-visual browsers to provide
a meaningful context for each cell.

The alt attribute should be used to give a short description
of an image; longer descriptions should be given with the
longdesc attribute which takes a URL linked to the description.
These measures are needed for people using non-graphical browsers.

see http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL.

service for checking URLs for accessibility.

You are recommended to use CSS to specify the font and
properties such as its size and color. This will reduce
the size of HTML files and make them easier to maintain
compared with using <FONT> elements.

You are recommended to use CSS to control line wrapping.
Use "white-space: nowrap" to inhibit wrapping in place
of inserting <NOBR>...</NOBR> into the markup.
